History

Following renewed interest in Sideshow Raheem years after his short-lived tenure on The Krusty the Clown Show, fans organized the first "Sideshow Raheem Conny Con" at the Ramada Inn in Clark, New Jersey. Seeing an opportunity to profit from the character's growing popularity, Krusty announced plans to release The Krusty the Clown Show: The Best of Sideshow Raheem, a DVD collecting Raheem's most memorable moments from the series. While promoting the release during an interview on KBBL radio's Bill & Marty's Morning Zoo, Krusty acknowledged Raheem's volatile personality, joking that although his former sidekick had once thrown him into a car, "the man had something," before nervously hoping Raheem was not listening.
