Into the Homer-verse

  • The title and plot is a parody of Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse.
  • Hansel and Gretel are seen in a room, captured by Mr. Burns and Smithers.
  • Homer Barbera is a parody of Yogi Bear and a reference to Hannah-Barbera.
  • Disney Princess Homer, including the crystal shoe and the pumpkin coach, is a parody of Cinderella, and his name is a reference to the Disney Princesses.
  • Black and White Homer is a parody of Spider-Man Noir.
  • 8-bit Homer is a parody of 8-bit characters from videogames.
    • In a cut scene, he jumps on a building game, which is the Donkey Kong arcade game. He moves and dies the same way Mario does in the game.
    • He says Three-eyed crow is a Tomegatroid, to which Homer asks what's a Megatroid, a reference to both the game series and enemy, Metroid, and the Metroid-style mobile game Megatroid.
  • The 6 Homers sing the Lollipop song.
  • 8-Bit Homer jumps on the kitchen table and hits the roof, dropping donuts, a reference to the way that Sonic the Hedgehog does with the rings he has collected when he's hit.
