Goofs
- While at the WNBA game when choosing the contestant for the shot, Homer stands up and no one is in the seat to his left. Then when Flanders makes the shot, there is someone sitting next to him.
- Before Homer prayed for the remote to be found, it is not under the couch until after he prays.
- When Moe comes in wearing a fake mustache at the community outreach center, it was brown, but when everyone leaves out of the center, his mustache turns gray.
- The seat Homer was sitting in would be the same as Flanders seat, as it is the same arena. Regardless of the teams playing.

- The jury in this episode has many of the same people as the jury in the fake trial in "The Great Money Caper", namely Cletus, Louie, the Yale man and the Mayo Clinic doctor.
- Sideshow Mel is one of the alcohol anonymous at the churches alcohol anonymous program with Barney. Mel's alcohol problems were first eluted to in "I Love Lisa" (in a clip of Mel drunk at the Krusty's upcoming 29th Anniversary Special).
