• The number plate of the Fjord Fjiesta that Homer, Moe and Lenny rented in Iceland is RABF14, the production code for the episode.
• Carl's family tree says nothing about Carl's sister. This may have been because his sister wasn't adopted by his adoptive family and he may have met her at a later period, when he had moved to the USA.
