Plot
Bart takes home an A for once when Lisa makes them notice it was made using AI, CheatGPT, starting an argument, but Homer and Marge don't care as he's finally got an A and Homer is using CheatGPT to lecture him. Lisa wonders how teachers deal with it, and in the teacher's lounge the teachers ask Skinner to do something and they purchase AI detection software, Teacher's Net. A fight between students and teachers starts, where the students hack the system and the teachers try to stop them, so Skinner invokes the banana option, where all their homework is now about bananas, using invisible white text in their assignments. Because of this, they retaliate by placing tons of bananas in the teacher's lounge.
Seeing this, Chalmers announces the school has become a phone-free school. To retaliate, they tip Ogdenville State University about him committing plagiarism on his thesis, and State Comptroller Atkins fires him. He goes to Moe's to sulk and tell his story, and Homer proposes that he work at the Power Plant, so he starts as a janitor. However, when Homer tells him to relax like the others, he gets caught by Mr. Burns and is sent by Smithers to clean up the tunnel behind the cooling towers, where he meets some big snails.
When he gets home, Shauna notices how the snail mucus makes him look amazing, and Chalmers proposes a business plan for it, creating Escarbro, making lots of money and many men happy and grateful. Then Shauna tells him that even high schoolers use it to have kindergartner skin, and when he goes to visit the school to talk about his success, he sees all the students there are using it too. His speech changes to try and stop the usage of Escarbro on school property, and he announces he is banning the product on school grounds as he has bought the school at an auction. At the Power Plant, Homer gives the snails chips, killing them, and stopping Escarbro for good.
