The episode was written by Michael Price and directed by Jennifer Moeller. It guest stars J. J. Abrams as himself.
Synopsis
- "Homer tries to reunite a mechanical band from his youth, but film and TV creator J. J. Abrams (guest-voicing as himself) gets ahold of them first."
Production
The episode was supposed to air on March 7, 2021, but due to "Diary Queen" being pre-empted to February 21, 2021 due to Daytona 500 delays, it was pre-empted to March 14, 2021.[1][2][3]
