Country Information
|
Uruguay is a South American country.
History
Homer once mispronounced it's name and mistook it for "U R Gay" when seeing it in a globe.[1]
There was a food stand at the pier called "Have it Uruguay".[2]
It was also one of the teams competing in 2010 Winter Olympics.[3]
Behind the Laughter
The slogan on the food stand, "Have it Uruguay," is a parody of Burger King's slogan "Have it your way."
Appearances
- Episode – "Bart vs. Australia" (mentioned, seen on globe)
- Episode – "Worst Episode Ever" (name only)
- Episode – "Boy Meets Curl" (mentioned)
