The seventeenth season of The Simpsons ran for 22 episodes, which aired from September 11, 2005 to May 21, 2006.

When Bart tries to get revenge on a new gym teacher who likes hitting students in the face with dodgeballs, he accidentally destroys Groundskeeper Willie's shack, leaving him homeless, but Lisa takes him in. She makes Willie a proper gentlemen, and signs up for the science fair, with him as her project.
