History

Bart and Simon Woosterfield, another 10-year-old who looked nearly identical to him, decided to change places with each other and the Simpsons drive to Aspen, Colorado]] to switch them back.[1]

Marge tried to find a missing Bart by the charges made on Homer's credit card including one in Colorado for $200 worth of bubblegum which was actually Homer.[2]

One of Homer and Bart's online videos had 5.7 million views which branding expert Warburton Parker pointed out is the population of Colorado.[3]

In a flash-forward where Lisa has not decided which college she will go to and wondered if she might not go to any of them when Marge started to list off all the things she did for Lisa "just so I could have the brief joy of setting up your dorm room with the roommate from the fancy family who you'll spend the holidays with on their ranch in Colorado instead of coming home to me."[4]
