History[edit]

After getting stuck in Knoxville, Tennessee, Bart and three friends tried to sell Milhouse's glasses to a pawn shop in an attempt to get enough money to get back home. The pawnbroker was delighted by the glasses, saying that he could use them to "re-bottom" his antique Coke bottles. Before he gave them the cash however, Milhouse knocked over the bottles, breaking them. The pawnbroker then put the money back, leaving the boys once again with out a way to get home.[1]
