They manage to escape but are found in the hedge maze, where Homer tells Marge to hide in the bushes, finding the man behind Nick there too. Synopsis[edit]

"The Simpsons encounter death on vacation at a high-end resort."

Plot[edit]

The Simpsons go on vacation at The Yellow Lotus, with Homer and Marge in the water. Suddenly, Homer notices something tickling his butt and discovers it's not Marge, but a dead body. The family arrives at the resort on the Drooping Dandelions, a boat for the poor, following The Yellow Lotus' boat where the wealthy travel. Marge doubts if this is the place they have been investing in a timeshare contract for 10 years, dating back to when Bart is still in her womb, thanks to Nick Callahan. Her doubts begin to disappear once they land and see what the resort has to offer.

But the reality is that the timeshare company no longer owns the property, and Lindsey Naegle tells them she will wait for them at checkout. Inside the resort, they get comfortable in their room before Lindsey comes in for checkout, as their accumulated time amounts to 20 minutes. Julius and Bernice Hibbert settle in. They are ready to leave the island when Tasha arrives, carrying a boat full of luggage. Bart suggests they sneak in through the luggage into their designated room.

Marge wonders if she must be the happiest woman in the world when she hears Tasha crying. From the window, they discover her husband is none other than Sideshow Bob. Hearing them call his name, Bob enters the room and tells them he has no intention of going after her money. He explains that he invented a rake with a collapsible handle to avoid head bonks, only to end up getting bonked himself. To continue their vacation, they agree not to expose each other.

When the staff notices the kids in the pool, Homer worries they have been seen. However, they take the kids to the children's section of the resort, where they can have fun.

Marge notices they are the only happy people, and when they go to the spa section, they hear a tarot reading by Mrs. Risotto, predicting that someone is going to die. Realizing Tasha is one of the possible victims, Homer and Marge confess who Bob is to her, and Bob tells Lindsey who they are. They manage to escape but are found in the hedge maze, where Homer tells Marge to hide in the bushes, finding the man behind Nick there too. The next day, wearing sunglasses, they confront him and realize he is still on the same job. They try to shame him and everyone else for not enjoying the paradise they are in despite their money but get kicked out anyway.

At the port, for one last swim, they go to the snuggler's cove. The Hibberts resolve their situation by throwing the medications down the hot-air balloon and sharing a hug. The Hounds finally get to eat, taking Sideshow Mel's bone and spare bone, while Bob gives Tasha a nice necklace. In the end, thanks to her medications, it is Tasha who pushes Bob down the cliff. Mel helps Bob back on his feet, and Mrs. Risotto appears, remembering one last prediction that comes true. Nick is killed by the otter that took Bernice's medications and was the body found by them at the cove. When Kent Brockman reports the news of Nick's death, the otter bites his necklace.
