The Animal Within is an event-exclusive questline in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was introduced in the Winter 2015 content update.

Pt. 1[edit]

After completing Once In Royal Quimby's City Pt. 2 First thing an exotic petting zoo needs is a stage where they can prance around. And, er... chairs right up against the stage for the best views. Good idea. Then the pets can climb right down onto kids' laps. ...and they can stuff their dollar bills into their costumes. Wait, what? Are you thinkin' this is exotic ladies?! This is an exotic ANIMAL petting zoo. Sorry. When I hear "exotic" and "petting" my mind goes where any crummy mayor's would. Task: "Upgrade "Exotic Petting Zoo" to Level 2". Quest reward: 100 and 10

Pt. 2[edit]

After completing Pt. 1 Okay, so it turns out "exotic animals" are also "very hard to get animals." We gotta make do with what we got, which ain't much. Maybe you could make Springfield's regular animals into special ones? I think you're on to something, Barn. I believe it technically counts as exotic if I order paint and stick-on parts from overseas! Task: "Upgrade "Exotic Petting Zoo" to Level 3". Oooh. Cute little fishy wants to be petted! Kid, don't get too close to this one, it's an... ... ... electric eel. Seriously, don't touch it. This thing could kill you, you know. Little fishy makes me all sparkly! More sparkles! ... And he did it again... Quest reward: 100 and 10
