Synopsis
- "Marge gets a job in a high-pressure ghost kitchen, but when she tries to start a union, she gets more than she collectively bargained for."
Plot
Lisa takes Snowball for a walk in a strolley, meeting Crazy Cat Lady, and arrives at the Little Vest Park, where other Springfielders take their pet and their emotional support animals, but things get haywire when Snowball attacks a girl's chicken, while the girl was saying that it can't be here as it's not vested and Lisa was replying how compassionate it is.
At the Tweeter Sinai Bird Hospital, the veterinarian cures the chicken, Gwyneth Poultry, but the mother presents the bill, $16,000, to the Simpsons to cover it, and so Marge commits to get a job to pay for it, and she applies to be a cook for the GimmeChow app.
Gil is their shift manager presents the job and they accept, but when the job starts, the list of orders is too much to take and they all scramble to prepare the food, with Marge slipping on mayonnaise and saying the f-word.
Two months later she wakes up in the afternoon, having missed the whole day with her family, and they lie to her about having cooked dinner together as a family to make her happy. When she leaves for work, they order from GimmeChow their food like they've been doing for two months.
Gil gives everyone smartwatches for their goodjob, but they're just ankle watches that monitor if they go inactive. Marge goes to protest for the not payed overtime and Gil tells her that since it goes past midnight they're considered new days instead, then the ankle watch shocks her because she was idle, while Gil explains that the company is a start-up and that money is tight.
The next day Demented Dollars with Fiscal Cliff announces how the owner, Finn Bon Idee, is the new millionaire.
