Cultural references

• The episode name is a reference to the sports comedy film The Longest Yard.
• The fan riots are a reference to the riots the Philadelphia Eagles fans did after the Super Bowl LII.
• Divisions of Burns Co. includes the reboot of Mad About You, the pharmaceutical company AstraZeneca and associate justice of the Supreme Court Brett Kavanaugh.
• Warburton Parker says that liquor brands endorsed by celebrities are all that anybody buys. He then shows a picture of George Clooney with Casamigos Tequila, a real brand owned by Clooney. He then shows a picture of Ryan Reynolds and Aviation Gin, a real brand which Reynolds owns a stake in.
