The Samsonadzes[edit]

Not actually a version of The Simpsons, just an animated show ripping off The Simpsons. Don't think it deserves an article. Also, the article is just taken from Wikipedia. The Solar Dragon 07:23, October 7, 2015 (EDT)

  • Concur. This one should have a mention in "References in other media", but doesn't deserve its own article. -- Mythigator (talk) 10:16, October 11, 2015 (EDT)
    • Yeah, the fact it's basically a rip-off is really the only point of relevancy to the article. Agree with Mythigator. --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 20:21, October 12, 2015 (EDT)

Liquor Store[edit]

Mentioned only in the script. It shouldn't have an article. Not only is it mentioned only, it never was mentioned in the episode. The Solar Dragon 10:31, October 11, 2015 (EDT)

  • Agree. This article is pretty unnecessary. --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 20:21, October 12, 2015 (EDT)

Tinker Bell[edit]

FatHomerTalk 06:17, October 14, 2015 (EDT)
I disagree. We have articles for merely mentioned characters so this can stay. The Solar Dragon 06:42, October 14, 2015 (EDT)
But it's just Lisa dressed as tinker bell, not a new character. Isn't it better to write under the trivia tab that Lisa was dressed as tinker bell? FatHomerTalk 07:29, October 14, 2015 (EDT)
But since Tinker Bell is a real-world character, it's basically the same as mentioning any other real-world celebrity. --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 11:16, October 14, 2015 (EDT)

Simpson's TV[edit]

Don't think this is notable for an article. The Solar Dragon 04:41, October 21, 2015 (EDT)

But I created it as a good article, and you deleting it may not be good, as I could still improve it. Acooldude 18:18, October 21, 2015 (EDT)
I agree with Solar. It's not quite notable. But everything can be discussed. / Loco87 (SimpsonsFT.pngSimpsonsFA.pngSimpsonsFL.pngSimpsonsFK.png / Contribs) 07:43, October 22, 2015 (EDT)
If we have an article for the TV, what's to stop us having an article for the couch? The dinner table? Kitchen sink? The front door? The fridge? Homer and Marge's bed? The main bathroom toilet? It's an item of furniture, just like all of those. The Solar Dragon 11:53, October 22, 2015 (EDT)
I like that idea, Mr. Solar Dragon Sir. I'll do it! But other users can help me though. Acooldude 18:21, October 22, 2015 (EDT)
I'm not quite good at identifying sarcasm but I think Solar's comment was sarcastic. / Loco87 (SimpsonsFT.pngSimpsonsFA.pngSimpsonsFL.pngSimpsonsFK.png / Contribs) 18:28, October 22, 2015 (EDT)
Yes, it was sarcasm. After reading his reply, I didn't just facepalm, I almost smashed my head into my desk in frustration. lol. The Solar Dragon 18:37, October 22, 2015 (EDT)

List of Bart Simpson Annuals in the UK[edit]

All the annuals are the same in the UK as the US. There is no need for a separate article about the UK annuals. The Solar Dragon 10:02, November 6, 2015 (EST)

True, but where is the article about the annuals then?? Dylan - Talk Contribs 10:23, November 6, 2015 (EST)
There should be one. If not, then maybe not a delete, but a rewrite and a move should be done instead. The Solar Dragon 10:32, November 6, 2015 (EST)

Okay then going to rewrite it. Dylan - Talk Contribs 10:35, November 6, 2015 (EST)

Does it seem fine now? Dylan - Talk Contribs 10:49, November 6, 2015 (EST)

The Simpsons Treehouse of Horror (UK)[edit]

Not a UK series. All comics listed are part of the Simpsons Comics UK series. The Solar Dragon 13:44, November 2, 2015 (EST)

  • There was treehouse of horror comics, havent had chance to put them on the page yet, was getting round to it some point soon but been doing other countries comics Dylan - Talk Contribs 14:08, November 2, 2015 (EST)
  • Well, it should be added to the page and all Simpsons Comics issues should be removed from the page. The entire page needs a rewrite if that's the case. The Solar Dragon 14:19, November 2, 2015 (EST)

Radioactive Man 80pg. 1 (UK)[edit]

Not a comic in the UK, according to the article. It just lists the issues that had stories that were published in the US comic. This shouldn't have an article as a result. The Solar Dragon 10:41, November 4, 2015 (EST)

Agreed Dylan - Talk Contribs 10:42, November 4, 2015 (EST)

Weapons[edit]

Very pointless page. The notable weapons will get their own articles. Unnotable ones won't. Simples. The Solar Dragon 12:30, November 6, 2015 (EST)

Agreed. It's also rather vague. You could use practically anything as a weapon if you're resourceful enough. :P --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 15:23, November 6, 2015 (EST)

File:Covercraft - Bart(picture).PNG[edit]

It's not an actual "nudity scene". That picture appears in almost every episode. We would have to "re-watch" every episode and upload the scenes from each episode where the picture appears. / Loco87 (SimpsonsFT.pngSimpsonsFA.pngSimpsonsFL.pngSimpsonsFK.png / Contribs) 07:18, November 11, 2015 (EST)

It's not really that necessary to re-watch over 500 episodes for one picture. It's mentioned now in the summary that it is "recurring". - EMarin121

Loco, the reason this image was added was because on the nudity section, episode 93 took the photo as "nudity", even though Marge was the main focus. Throughout the list, there are few with nude or diapered baby pictures and I figured those counted as part of every nude scene when searching. Please don't delete this.

- EMarin121

I personally believe that the entire article is stupid. However, it seems to generate us A LOT of hits (seriously, it's disturbing how many people get to the wiki by searching "Lisa Simpson nude" and the like...) so I'm for keeping the page. lol. BUT, I think that things like babies in "diapers", and most of the "semi-nudity" should be removed from the page. If we have it, it should focus solely on nudity. The Solar Dragon 13:53, November 23, 2015 (EST)
SNPP has a smilar page so we should keep the page, and it gives us visitors but I think we should remove this and other picture with underwear and other semi-nudity like diapers and Maggie topless in diaper images./AleWi (talk) 15:55, November 23, 2015 (EST)

Greg Lovello[edit]

Mentioned only character. The Solar Dragon 05:46, December 28, 2015 (EST)

Template:Multiple issues[edit]

It is unneeded. We have lots of messageboxes on specific issues and the {{MultiMessagebox}} template. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 18:25, March 29, 2016 (EDT)

  • So it's a maintenance template that tells you the page has lots of maintenance templates? Doesn't sound entirely necessary. Cjcsdonut.png -- CJC 16:19, March 30, 2016 (EDT)

Funky Winkerbean[edit]

The only mention is one balloon in a Thanksgiving Day parade. Does this really warrant an article? -- Mythigator (talk) 15:04, June 17, 2016 (EDT)

If a character appears in the show, they should get an article, even if it is as a balloon. The Solar Dragon 16:08, June 17, 2016 (EDT)
Fair enough. :-) Funky stays, then. But let me see if I can spiff up the article a little bit. -- Mythigator (talk) 23:03, June 17, 2016 (EDT)

Mutations[edit]

Page is unnotable, at least one mutation listed on the page isn't actually a mutation. Page shouldn't exist imo. The Solar Dragon 09:07, September 2, 2016 (EDT)

I Agree. The page is unnotable. It shouldn't exist. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 15:21, September 2, 2016 (EDT)
Agree. Doesn't really seem to be much use for it, honestly. --Nick97 (talk ~ contribs) 20:54, September 2, 2016 (EDT)

Speed-E-Mart owner[edit]

Unnamed, non-speaking character. Against notability policy. Can just have his part on the doppelgangers page. The Solar Dragon 07:29, September 19, 2016 (EDT)

Maggie is also non-speaking. This is not a proper argument. --2F13 (talk) 08:00, September 19, 2016 (EDT)
Maggie is named though, and has actually spoken on occasion. Read our notability policy for what we deem to be notable. The Solar Dragon 08:02, September 19, 2016 (EDT)

Education[edit]

Unnotable page and topic. Really doesn't deserve a page. It's an incomplete mess of information too, including both in-universe and real world stuff. The Solar Dragon 12:13, September 19, 2016 (EDT)

Phone area codes[edit]

Poor quality article. There's only two area codes and all that can be written about them can be in the episode's article. The Solar Dragon 09:40, November 11, 2016 (EST)

EPA Trucks[edit]

Completely unnotable. The Solar Dragon 16:35, November 18, 2016 (EST)

Mutated hamster[edit]

Unnamed, non-speaking, unnotable. The Solar Dragon 16:04, November 30, 2016 (EST)

EPA helicopter[edit]

Unnotable. The Solar Dragon 16:13, November 30, 2016 (EST)

I feel it's kinda notable. The EPA Trucks one was completely unnotable, but this one might be considered notable as those helicopters play a more or less decent part in the movie. Nevertheless, for the same reason (the part they play in the movie) it could be also unnotable. It depends on the concept of "playing a decent part", which is a bit hard to define. / Loco87 (SimpsonsFT.pngSimpsonsFA.pngSimpsonsFL.pngSimpsonsFK.png / Contribs) 18:42, November 30, 2016 (EST)
How was the truck unnotable? It held Marge and the kids prisoners, and Homer tried to break it with a crane and wrecking ball. --205.213.104.127 19:48, November 30, 2016 (EST)
That wasn't the truck the article was about. It was about the trucks the EPA used to drive around in. Not really notable at all.
As for the helicopters, all they did was bring the Dome in. They don't really need an article. The helicopters don't have a proper name, don't get seen for too long. They're just plain helicopters. The Solar Dragon 06:08, December 1, 2016 (EST)
Well, they did that and also brought the bomb inside the dome. If that is not enough to consider they play a decent part in the movie, then the article should be treated as unnotable and, in consequence, also deleted. / Loco87 (SimpsonsFT.pngSimpsonsFA.pngSimpsonsFL.pngSimpsonsFK.png / Contribs) 06:40, December 1, 2016 (EST)
Hmm... Well, it will definitely need an expansion then. The Simpsons Movie part of the article just says "EPA helicopters lower the Dome.". The Solar Dragon 06:52, December 1, 2016 (EST)
If that wasn't an EPA truck carrying Marge and the kids back to the dome, what was it? --205.213.104.125 17:55, December 1, 2016 (EST)

Dewey Largo (When Bongos Collide!)[edit]

Unnamed superhero alter ego, no known powers. Not really notable enough for an article. The Solar Dragon 12:18, December 18, 2016 (EST)

Unnamed superhero alter ego, no known powers. Not really notable enough for an article. The Solar Dragon 13:50, January 4, 2017 (EST)

Jobs by character[edit]

Really pointless page. The Solar Dragon 13:26, April 19, 2017 (EDT)

Jan Skopeček[edit]

One time Czech voice dubber. Not notable enough for an article here. The Solar Dragon 07:07, May 13, 2017 (EDT)

Agree. Not notable. / Loco87 (Talk / Contribs) 07:42, May 15, 2017 (EDT)

Rava Khatan[edit]

Mentioned only character who, as far as I can see, isn't a real person. Too minor an article and against notability policy. The Solar Dragon 18:02, May 3, 2017 (EDT)

Agree. Not notable. / Loco87 (Talk / Contribs) 07:42, May 15, 2017 (EDT)

Gradiva[edit]

Published a Portuguese version of some books... Okay. Why do we need this article? The Solar Dragon 06:36, May 15, 2017 (EDT)

Agree. Delete. / Loco87 (Talk / Contribs) 07:42, May 15, 2017 (EDT)

Tony Plow[edit]

Not an actual character. A name Homer made up, referencing an actor. The Solar Dragon 08:12, May 15, 2017 (EDT)

Seems not notable to me. Delete. / Loco87 (Talk / Contribs) 08:22, May 15, 2017 (EDT)

Crew members on Kent Brockman's list of people who are gay[edit]

Honestly, these are an Easter Egg more than anything. The content isn't accurate as a result. Everyone on the list isn't gay. Not in real life. If the crew member has an article with other content on it, it can stay. But the ones who were only mentioned in "Bart's Comet" can go in my opinion. The Solar Dragon 09:24, June 4, 2017 (EDT)

Agree. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 15:10, June 5, 2017 (EDT)
Agreed. Also, any gay references that are solely based on the "Bart's Comet" mention should go as well. (This would be on the crew member articles that don't get deleted.) -- Mythigator (talk) 17:26, June 6, 2017 (EDT)
I feel that it should get a mention, but they shouldn't be counted under LGBT characters. The Solar Dragon 17:50, June 6, 2017 (EDT)
Yup, on further reflection, it IS worth mentioning that they were part of the "comet outing" Easter egg, as long as there is other justification for their having an article, as previously discussed. But they shouldn't go on the LGBT list. -- Mythigator (talk) 18:58, June 6, 2017 (EDT)

I'd also like to throw the people linked on This template into the same category. They should be deleted. The Solar Dragon 16:03, June 7, 2017 (EDT)

Sailor boy[edit]

Unnamed, non-speaking character. With only two minor appearances. Doesn't feel important enough for an article to me. The Solar Dragon 14:23, May 3, 2017 (EDT)

I don't know. In it is stated that "Unnamed recurring characters should have an article", and as it has two appearances, it is considered a recurring character. In the other hand, it is also stated that "Unnamed, non-speaking characters do not get an article". I'm not sure on this one. / Loco87 (Talk / Contribs) 07:42, May 15, 2017 (EDT)
The unnamed recurring characters clause is mainly for Bart and Lisa's classmates etc. Those that have many background appearances. The sailor boy to me doesn't fit into that. The Solar Dragon 08:01, May 15, 2017 (EDT)

Wayne Rogers[edit]

Only one mention, doesn't make an appearance or have any lines. -- Mythigator (talk) 12:43, August 8, 2017 (EDT)

Keep, "Named mentioned celebrities can have an article." according Notability./AleWi (talk) 16:08, August 9, 2017 (EDT)
I had forgotten about that particular component of the notability guidelines. Therefore, I cheerfully withdraw the nomination, but this article, Mike Farrell, and My Core Beliefs all need some work. I'll take care of that after I post the M*A*S*H references article into the mainspace. -- Mythigator (talk) 18:07, August 9, 2017 (EDT)
Turns out I also forgot that we kept the Max Klinger article after much debate. If I had remembered that, I wouldn't have made the Wayne Rogers nomination in the first place. Again, cheerfully withdrawn. -- Mythigator (talk) 12:10, August 10, 2017 (EDT)

Amazon.com[edit]

We really don't need an article for this. Just because they sell merchandise doesn't mean we should have an article. The Solar Dragon 12:43, November 22, 2017 (EST)

The only reason I see for keeping it would be if the physical location or the website had played a significant role or had at least been seen in an episode or comic story plot. Drederick Tatum lining a birdcage with Kindles doesn't qualify. -- Mythigator (talk) 21:05, November 22, 2017 (EST)

Cletus Junior[edit]

Mentioned only character. Article is way too wordy for what is needed. The Solar Dragon 08:58, December 17, 2017 (EST)

Charleston Chew[edit]

Candy bar that is only mentioned once. Not really needed. The Solar Dragon 08:58, December 17, 2017 (EST)

The Simpsons Extravaganza[edit]

And the crew members related to it. It was just several back to back episodes. It wasn't official in any way. The Solar Dragon 07:11, December 24, 2017 (EST)

Truth Teller[edit]

Not a real character, not a lot to the article. It was just an alias used by Lisa. The Solar Dragon 07:05, January 2, 2018 (EST)

Cyborganizer[edit]

Title character of the TV show The Cyborganizer, a RoboCop spoof that Homer watches in "Last Tap Dance in Springfield". There is no difference in the content of the two articles, which indicates that what we're told about the show is essentially the same as what we're told about the character. Strictly speaking, the articles should be merged and we should keep the one about the show, as the content does seem more geared toward describing the show. -- Mythigator (talk) 23:18, April 30, 2018 (EDT)

Disagree. The character should have an article too, it just needs to be rewritten to make it solely about the character. The Solar Dragon 05:25, May 1, 2018 (EDT)

Modeling Agency[edit]

Fictional business, not given a proper name, and only mentioned once, on the TV show The Cyborganizer. There's not enough information about the agency to warrant its own article; its content should be merged into the article about the show and the agency article should be deleted. -- Mythigator (talk) 23:27, April 30, 2018 (EDT)

Agreed. The Solar Dragon 05:25, May 1, 2018 (EDT)

Prince family[edit]

It's a family of three people. Doesn't need an article. The Solar Dragon 13:00, August 22, 2018 (EDT)

Goku, Neytiri and Raphael (Future Cop!)[edit]

Not article-worthy. They have no dialogue and only the one appearance of background characters costumed as them for the Bi-Mon-Sci-Fi-Con in Future Cop!. Also, the person tagged as Raphael looks like the Hulk, not a ninja turtle. -- Mythigator (talk) 18:35, October 7, 2018 (EDT)

Disagree, they are fine according to the notability policy. The Solar Dragon 05:33, October 8, 2018 (EDT)
Oh, and Raphael is sort of behind the Hulk, mostly obscured by The Flash. The Solar Dragon 05:33, October 8, 2018 (EDT)
Disagree with the disagreement. See the "Crossovers" section of the policy. I don't see how they qualify as notable under any of the other line items. I see what you're talking about with Raphael, but he's still in the background. -- Mythigator (talk) 20:58, October 8, 2018 (EDT)
Sorry about being snippy, Solar. Yesterday was a rough day at work; today was a good deal better. I'm still not sure how those articles meet the notability guidelines, but it occurs to me that keeping them around can actually do the wiki a good turn. For instance, some overly loquacious Highlander might use them as a springboard for building a cultural reference article or two. :-) Mythigator (talk) 21:11, October 9, 2018 (EDT)
Withdrawing the nominations. I found another Neytiri appearance without even looking all that hard. -- Mythigator (talk) 23:18, October 9, 2018 (EDT)

David (Close Encounters of the Nerd Kind)[edit]

This is actually David Hasselhoff. When Bart zaps him from Kang and Kodos's ship, he's singing "Hooked on a Feeling", a pop tune from the '70s which Hasselhoff covered in 1997 for his album "Hooked on a Feeling". -- Mythigator (talk) 23:43, November 10, 2018 (EST)

Needs to be merged rather than deleted, but agree. The Solar Dragon 07:56, May 4, 2019 (EDT)
Merged the info into the David Hasselhoff article and redirected David (Close Encounters of the Nerd Kind). -- Mythigator (talk) 12:42, May 4, 2019 (EDT)

When Pets Go Postal[edit]

Dubious notability, only mentioned in passing in one panel of a comic story. The article When Cartoon Animals Attack Other Cartoon Animals was previously deleted for non-notability, and it too is only mentioned in passing in one panel of a comic story. They're either both notable or both not notable; it doesn't make sense for one to be notable and the other not. We should either delete When Pets Go Postal or reinstate When Cartoon Animals Attack Other Cartoon Animals. -- Mythigator (talk) 01:06, April 26, 2019 (EDT)

Agree, not notable. The Solar Dragon 07:56, May 4, 2019 (EDT)
Deleted as discussed. -- Mythigator (talk) 13:42, May 4, 2019 (EDT)

KBBL Radio[edit]

It is same as KBBL. --2F13 (talk) 07:30, May 4, 2019 (EDT)

KBBL Radio is for the location, KBBL is for the radio station itself. Same reason we have Channel 6 and Channel 6 Studios. The Solar Dragon 07:56, May 4, 2019 (EDT)
Agree, the article should stay. But it would be a good idea to make sure the two articles show a distinction in content for the radio station vs. the location. -- Mythigator (talk) 13:42, May 4, 2019 (EDT)
At least some cross-linking would be useful. --2F13 (talk) 13:58, May 4, 2019 (EDT)
That I agree with. Both pages do need some work. The Solar Dragon 18:23, May 4, 2019 (EDT)

World's Zaniest Police Chases[edit]

Same issue as When Pets Go Postal: only mentioned in passing in one panel of a comic story. It would merit a mention in a References article for America's Funniest Home Videos (there seems to be more than enough material for one), but doesn't merit its own article. -- Mythigator (talk) 13:42, May 4, 2019 (EDT)

Agreed. The Solar Dragon 18:23, May 4, 2019 (EDT)
Deleted the page per discussion and removed links to it. -- Mythigator (talk) 23:17, May 26, 2019 (EDT)

World's Funniest Surveillance Videos[edit]

Contrary to what the article says, it's only mentioned in passing. The people involved don't work specifically for that show; they work at Fox sorting video tapes, apparently intended for multiple shows, one of which is World's Funniest Surveillance Videos. As with Zaniest Police Chases, it would merit a mention in an AFV references article, but that would be all.

History (Postcards from the Wedge), Music (book), Math, Science[edit]

  • I agree FatHomerTalk 15:58, October 4, 2019 (EDT)
  • Concur, not notable, per guidelines. -- Mythigator (talk) 16:37, October 4, 2019 (EDT)

Mentioned only company. The Solar Dragon 16:59, October 8, 2019 (EDT)

Now that an image has been posted, this is fine to stay. However, we still need discussion on the character. The Solar Dragon 11:38, November 23, 2019 (EST)

Antiques, Beachwear, Clay Jars, Gifts and Sandals[edit]

All very minor, generic shops. The names are just what they sell. The Solar Dragon 17:35, October 12, 2019 (EDT)

The Simpsons Movie (cap)‎, The Simpsons Movie (T-shirt)‎ and The Simpsons Movie Badge Pack‎[edit]

Unnotable merchandise, do not deserve pages. The Solar Dragon 19:04, November 24, 2019 (EST)

List of nudity/Episodes/Season 1[edit]

No actual need for this page. Its content is already in the List of nudity page. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 10:29, December 15, 2019 (EST)

MC[edit]

Article about German merchandise, so doesn't belong on an English wiki. The Solar Dragon 10:31, February 10, 2020 (EST)

The Simpsons Pop-Out People[edit]

Unnotable, unimportant merchandise. The Solar Dragon 17:53, March 11, 2020 (EDT)

Google Maps[edit]

Mentioned only, not notable. The Solar Dragon 19:30, March 19, 2020 (EDT)

Various magazines[edit]

Magazines seen in the background of episode "Krusty Gets Busted" (Media criteria: "Magazines, books and comics with generic names seen in background shots should not get articles.)

  • Bucks
  • Dance
  • Date
  • Fun
  • Sport

If they are OK to have an article let me know and I can find the missing images. Thanks, --Simpsons88 (talk) 17:12, July 25, 2020 (EDT)

Dragon's Eye[edit]

Doesn't seem quite notable. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 18:10, August 25, 2020 (EDT)

Agreed, it's not notable. The Solar Dragon 18:41, August 25, 2020 (EDT)

Senator Scoundrel, Scoundrel Comes Calling‎[edit]

Agreed, should be deleted. The Solar Dragon 16:05, October 4, 2020 (EDT)

Scoundrel for the Prosecution[edit]

  • Book never appears in the episode. This book link was added at Esme Delacroix page at Fandom [1] and thus got a good faith article creation here. --Simpsons88 (talk) 12:52, October 2, 2020 (EDT)
Agreed, should be deleted. The Solar Dragon 16:05, October 4, 2020 (EDT)

Beatrix Simpson, George Simpson and Laura Simpson[edit]

These characters do not appear and are not mentioned in The Simpsons Uncensored Family Album. --Simpsons88 (talk) 16:05, October 16, 2020 (EDT)

Good enough reasoning for me. The Solar Dragon 10:49, October 23, 2020 (EDT)

Waiter (A Hunka Hunka Burns in Love)[edit]

Page should be renamed. This character is actually a manager at Bob's Big Buddha, not a waiter. Homer first complains about the cookie fortunes to a waiter, and then the better-dressed manager comes to the table to talk to Homer. -- Mythigator (talk) 21:56, February 7, 2021 (EST)

This isn't the place to discuss a rename then, since this is for deletion. It should have been brought up on the talk page of the article. The Solar Dragon 18:23, February 8, 2021 (EST)
I drew a blank on where to raise the point. One of the things that happens when you type while half asleep. Thanks! -- Mythigator (talk) 00:13, February 9, 2021 (EST)

Architecture[edit]

Media seen in background with generic name. --Simpsons88 (talk) 11:30, April 15, 2021 (EDT)

Ice Age (franchise)[edit]

I'm not sure there's enough references to warrant a page. The Solar Dragon 12:30, March 8, 2022 (EST)

Rain Man[edit]

There doesn't seem to be enough references to warrant a page for this. The Solar Dragon 12:30, March 8, 2022 (EST)
