Vermont is one of the 50 states in the US. Its capital city is Montpelier.

History

Miss Vermont, a contestant in The Miss American Girl Pageant, wore a headdress representing maple syrup.[1]

Evelyn Peters said she will not eat anything unless it was shipped overnight from Vermont or Washington.[2]

After getting run out of Florida, the Simpson family was trying to decide on where to go for their next vacation. They were looking at a map of the US that had most of states crossed out, which were apparently all the states that the Simpsons were no longer allowed to enter.[3]

The Simpsons and Moe go to Vermont with Moe for the Wordloaf Literary Conference. The family, except Lisa, went sightseeing.[4]

Snake wore a Middlebury t-shirt[5] and Mr. Thai, owner of You Thai Now restaurant, had a daughter on the wait list at Bennington[6] which are both liberal arts colleges in Vermont.

Springfield, Vermont won the contest to be the Springfield to host the premiere of The Simpsons Movie.
