The second version of the Whacking Day guide, which changed the end date of the event.

The seventeenth content update, known as the Whacking Day content update of The Simpsons: Tapped Out was released on April 10, 2013 and is the long awaited Whacking Day update. It did not end on May 2, 2013 as originally thought, or on May 9, 2013 as originally stated in the guide but a week later on May 16, 2013.

This is the first update to offer prizes, and the second requiring the player to tap on a non-playable character to kill them - the first was zombies during the Halloween Update in 2012. However, unlike the Halloween Update, the player has to enter a mode to whack the snakes - the Baton Mode.

The update comes with a new splash screen and a new icon. The update now allows players to watch every cutscene from the game in a special "Cutscene" section of the build menu; the cutscenes are "Kaboom", "Home Alone", "Treehouse" and "True Love".

The update for Google Play came with Origin, enabling Android players to add friends and visit their towns.

This update also added a new maximum building and decoration count to the game. If the player has too many buildings and decorations a notice will appear: "Too Many Buildings", then the description "Building overload! You currently have [number of buildings and decorations] buildings and decorations in your Springfield. To ensure stability, the game now has a maximum building and decoration count of 3000. You need to store or sell some things if you want to build more."

The update introduced the ability to store characters in the player's inventory, as well as a long wished for confirmation button to prevent the accidental use of donuts.

The update also added new phrases for many of the game's characters, as well as a new sound for the Gilded Truffle.

Gameplay

Homer's 'Snake Hunt!' task.

Whacking Day Pt. 1

The player receives "Whacking Day Pt. 1", which is to "Make Lisa do Next Week's Homework" and to "Send Homer on a Snake Hunt!". Lisa's task rewards the player with 600 and 150 when completed on its own; Homer's task also rewards the player with 600 and 150 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.
	What's your problem?
	It's Whacking Day.
	Woohoooo! The greatest day of the year!
	But Dad, killing snakes is evil.
	You know what snakes are, right? Slimy, slithery guys? Always up to no good? Deserve a good, solid
	Just try to whack quietly, please, so I can get some work done.

Whacking Day Pt. 2

A sound of a snake hissing then sounds and the "Whacking Guide" opens up, which allows all the Whacking Day features in-game to be unlocked. Then the player receives two tasks in their taskbook, one of them being "Whacking Day Pt. 2", which is to "Whack [50] Snakes". To whack snakes, the player must tap on the snake icon in the corner of their screen. Whacking snakes will give the player either 1 or 1 Snake Egg. Upon whacking 50 and completing "Whacking Day Pt. 2", the player receives 100 and 10.
	I know the whole town loves Whacking Day, but, Homer, snakes are God's creatures.
	Really? What about that one who was a total jerk to Adam and that girl he was seeing?
	I guess if any animal does belong to the devil, it is the serpent.

Whacking Day Pt. 3

After tapping on Apu's exclamation mark
	Welcome to your official whacking day headquarters. I've hidden a snake somewhere in the store. The first one to whack it gets a free SQUISHEE.
Then the player receives "Whacking Day Pt. 3", which is to "Make Apu Hold a Whacking Day Promotion". The task takes 24 hours and rewards the player with 10 Snakes and 150 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 25 and 10.

Whacking Day Pt. 4

After tapping on Apu's exclamation mark
	Hey! Hey! Oh, I should have put more thought into my promotion. It will take me hours to clean up this mess.
Then the player receives "Whacking Day Pt. 4", which is to "Make Apu do a Kwik-E-Mart 8hr Shift". The task takes 8 hours and rewards the player with 275 and 70 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 25 and 10.

Whacking Day Pt. 5

After tapping on Homer's exclamation mark
	Grab a stick, Flanders, and get whacking!
	Oh I couldn't. Killing defenseless animals is wrong.
	Just pretend you're Ehud, and the snakes are Eglon, king of Moab.
	I don't know where you got such an obscure Biblical reference, but it works for me! Let's kill some snakes!
Then the player receives "Whacking Day Pt. 5", which is to "Make Ned Send Snakes back to Hell". The task takes 24 hours and rewards the player with 10 and 150 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 25 and 10.

Whacking Day Pt. 6

Then the player receives "Whacking Day Pt. 6", which requires the player to "Reach Level 6 and Build Cletus's Farm" and to "Make Cletus Shoot Snakes". The task takes 12 hours and rewards the player with 5 and 100 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 25 and 10.
	Dang! I clean forgot about Whacking Day. Where'm I gonna get a stick at this hour?
	If you need a weapon, what about that shotgun in your back pocket?
	Doesn't seem very sporting...
	Oh, Cletus. Whacking Day is just like any other beloved tradition: the point is to murder as many snakes as possible. By any means necessary.

Whacking Day Pt. 7

After tapping on Lisa's exclamation mark
	That's it! I can no longer sit by as our un-limbed brothers and sisters are whacked into non-existence for no other crime than being different!
	They also committed the crime of being slimy. And the crime of scaring Indiana Jones.
	Those aren't crimes!
Then the player receives "Whacking Day Pt. 7", which is to "Send Lisa to Release Snakes from Another Town". The task takes 5 hours and rewards the player with 3 and 50. Once the task is set, the player's town list pops up - with only those towns that have taken part in the Whacking Day update appearing. Underneath the player's name is the amount of snakes they have whacked. The player must select a town for Lisa to release snakes from. Whichever town you pick's whacked snake count will reduce, and yours will increase. After the player selects a town, Lisa goes to the Simpson House to start her task. Note: Other Springfield has a non-changing whacked snake count of 20. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 25 and 10.

Whacking Day Pt. 8

After tapping on Milhouse's exclamation mark
	Whacking Day always strikes me as a bit unfair. I mean, I'm so much bigger and stronger than a snake.
Then the player receives Whacking Day Pt. 8, which requires the player to "Reach Level 8 and Build the Van Houten House" and to "Make Milhouse Get Bullied by a Snake". The task takes 12 hours and rewards the player with 5 and 100 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 25 and 10.

Whacking Day Pt. 9

After tapping on Ned's exclamation mark
	Don't worry little brother. We'll smite these unholy serpents back to Genesis!
Then the player receives "Whacking Day Pt. 9", which is to "Make Ned Send Snakes back to Hell". The task takes 24 hours and rewards the player with 10 and 150 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, 25 and 10.

Whacking Day Pt. 10

	Principle Skinner, I need to call an emergency meeting with you.
	Certainly Lisa. My door is always open. How about...
	We need to STOP this dreadful snake massacre immediately. It's cruel.
	...next Wednesday at 11:30pm?
	But that's way past my bedtime!
	Sorry Lisa, gotta run.
Then the player receives "Whacking Day Pt. 10", which is to "Reach Level 9 and Build Springfield Elementary" and to "Make Skinner Hide from Lisa". The task takes 24 hours and rewards the player with 600 and 150 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 25 and 10.

Whacking Day Pt. 11

	Principle Skinner, are you avoiding me?
	What? Of course not. What self-respecting adult would hide from a little girl?
Then the player receives "Whacking Day Pt. 11", which is to "Make Skinner Hide from Lisa", again. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 25 and 10.

Whacking Day Pt. 12

After tapping on Lisa's exclamation mark
	Fine, then I'll do this on my own.
Then the player receives "Whacking Day Pt. 12", which is to "Make Lisa Release Snakes from Another Town", again. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 25 and 10.

Whacking Day Pt. 13

After tapping on Skinner's exclamation mark
	Willie, what's that you're injecting yourself with?
	Snake venom. It makes you strong, according to the ancient Scots.
	I wonder why you never hear people talk about "the wisdom of the ancient Scots?"
	Probably because they were idiots who were wrong about everything. Now shut up and let me inject myself.
Then the player receives "Whacking Day Pt. 13", which is to "Reach Level 10 and Build Willie's Shack" and to "Make Willie Inject Himself with Snake Venom". The task takes 12 hours and rewards the player with 5 and 100 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 25 and 10, ending the "Whacking Day" quest-line.

After the Whacking Day features are unlocked in game, two tasks appear in the player's taskbook. One of them is "Be Sensible when Whacking", which is to "Collected [150] Whacked Snakes". Collecting 150 unlocks Fort Sensible, the first prize. To get the building immediately, the player must pay 15. To whack snakes, the player must tap on the snake icon in the corner of their screen. Whacking snakes will give the player either 1 or 1 Snake Egg.

Upon collecting whacked 150 snakes, the player unlocks Fort Sensible, which takes 24 hours to build. The player then receives "008: License to Whack", which is to "Collected [400] Whacked Snakes". The prize for collecting whacked 400 is the "Expert Whacking License". After unlocking the Expert Whacking License, a notice appears saying "You are now licensed to whack 5 snakes in each friend's Springfield every day so if you're a hermit, start making friends!".

Then the player receives "Little Girl in the Big Ten Pt. 1", which is to "Collected [1000] Whacked Snakes". The prize for collecting whacked 1,000 is Gymnastic Lisa, Lisa's first outfit, and a Balance Beam.

Upon collecting 1000 whacked snakes and unlocking Gymnastic Lisa and the Balance Beam, the player receives "Snake Rocks Rock!", which is to "Collected [2000] Whacked Snakes". The prize for collecting whacked 2,000 is a Snake Rocks.

After unlocking the Snake Rocks
	Oh my god, Snake Rocks! Now I can get even more snakes. My life is complete.

The Snake Rocks appear in the player's inventory.

Then the player receives "King of the Whackers", which is to "Collected [3000] Whacked Snakes". The prize for collecting whacked 3,000 is the Snake Statue.

After unlocking the Snake Statue, the player receives "America's Former Pastime Pt. 1", which is to "Collected [4250] Whacked Snakes". The prize for collecting whacked 4,250 is the Duff Stadium.

After unlocking Duff Stadium, the player receives "Pet Snake", which is to "Collected [5500] Whacked Snakes". The prize for collecting that amount of snakes is the Pet Snake. After unlocking the Pet Snake and receiving 25 for doing so, the player receives "Willie, Show Us Yer Muscles", which is to "Collected [7500] Whacked Snakes". After unlocking Bare-Chested Willie and receiving 25 for doing so, the player receives "The Champ's Come-Back Pt. 1", which is to "Collected [10000] Whacked Snakes" - the prize for doing so is the Springfield Coliseum and Tatum. Upon unlocking Springfield Coliseum and Tatum, the player receives "More Than a Pretty Face - A Pretty Body Too Pt. 1", which is to "Collected [12500] Whacked Snakes", the reward for doing so is Sleep-Eazy Motel, which unlocks Miss Springfield as well. After unlocking the two, a notice appears, saying "Congratulations, you got all the Whacking Day prizes! Continue to whack snakes and you can win Whack Boxes that contain donuts and money." Then, the "Whacking Day prize" screen changes to show ten shaded Whack Boxes. Every thousand snakes, until 22,500, the player unlocks Whack Boxes which, as explained in the notice preceding the screen change, contain either donuts or money. Once the player has unlocked all Whack Boxes, in the middle of the notice where the item which the player would receive next if they raised enough snakes would appear, the text "Congratulations, you won all of the Whacking Day prizes" appears.

The player receives "The Cranky Man Can Pt. 1" which is to "Make Lugash Confiscate Student Pets". It takes 60 minutes. The player receives total 205 and 36 in reward.

The Cranky Man Can Pt. 2

The Cranky Man Can Pt. 3

Little Girl in the Big Ten Pt. 7

Duff Stadium

After building Duff Stadium and tapping on Homer's exclamation mark:

Homer: Woohoo, Duff Stadium! Truly the House that Duff Built, with a lot of taxpayer money. I can't wait to smell the grass . . . after I drink too much and fall over the railing onto it.

Then the player receives "America's Former Pastime Pt. 2", which is to "Send Homer to Yell at the Umpire". The task takes 24 hours and rewards the player with 600 and 10 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

This marks the end of the questline, unless the player has acquired Duffman; this next part of the questline requires him to be unlocked.

After tapping on Duffman's exclamation mark:

Duffman: Duffman's gotta make sure the fans in Duff Stadium have heard of Duff. Oh Yeah!

Then the player receives "America's Former Pastime Pt. 3", which is to "Make Duffman Promote Duff at Stadium". The task takes 2 hours and rewards the player with 150 and 40 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

Ninja Homer: Just squeeze your rage into a bitter little ball and release it at an appropriate time. Like that day I hit the referee with a whiskey bottle. Remember that?

Lisa: Yeah...

Then the player receives "Wing Chun for Dummies", which is to "Place Practice Snake" and to "Make Ninja Homer Fake-Whack Pretend Snakes". Homer's task takes 60 minutes and rewards the player with 1 Snake and 26 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 25 and 10.

After tapping on Ninja Homer's exclamation mark, if the player only has the Ninja Homer Practice Snake:

Ninja Homer: I'm tired of hitting the same practice snake. Someone needs to buy me more!

The player receives the quest again and the player must buy and place another practice snake to send Homer on the quest. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 25 and 10.

After tapping on Ninja Homer's exclamation mark:

Ninja Homer: I'm tired of whacking just snakes. It's time for bigger game!

Then the player receives "Getting Carried Away Pt. 1", which is to "Make Ninja Homer Smash Up Flanders House". The task takes 4 hours and rewards the player with 4 and 70 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 25 and 10.

After tapping on Ninja Homer's exclamation mark:

Ned: Glass on the front lawn. It looks like someone vandalized my house! Did you see anything, Homer?

Ninja Homer: Ummm... no... Although I did see some snakes loitering outside your house. I think they were in a snake gang.

Ned: Looks like these snakes are getting too big for their boots. It's time to take action.

Ninja Homer: Yay! I'll rally the troops.

Then the player receives "Getting Carried Away Pt. 2", which is to "Make Ninja Homer Steer the Mob in Wise Directions". The task takes 8 hours and rewards the player with 8 and 105 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 25 and 10.

After tapping on Ninja Homer's exclamation mark:

Ninja Homer: All fake snakes fake fear the power of the ninja!

Then the player receives "I Am Bruce Lee And Snakes Are My Chuck Norris", which is to "Make Ninja Homer Twirl Whacking Stick". The task takes 12 hours and rewards the player with 10 and 150 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 25 and 10.

Then the player receives "Oh Whacking Day", which is to "Make Ninja Homer Polish Stick for Whacking". The task takes 24 hours and rewards the player with 15 and 225 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 25 and 10, ending the Ninja Homer quest-line.

Prizes

Unlike during previous seasonal events, the unlocking of a prize doesn't require the player to actually spend their snake currency. Prizes are unlocked by just having the required amount of snakes in your account. Missing snakes can be replaced by spending donuts, at a rate of 5 donuts for each 50 snakes missing. The Whack Box is giving the player cash or donuts. It's 5% odds for 3 donuts, 10% odds for 2 donuts, 20% odds for 1 donut, 30% odds for $1000, and 35% odds for $750.

After tapping on Lisa's exclamation mark:

Gymnastic Lisa: Training on this balance beam could help pull my grade up in gym class. And I need it -- without perfect grades, I don't really have a "thing."

Then the player receives "Little Girl in the Big Ten Pt. 3", which is to "Make Gymnastic Lisa Walk the Beam". The task takes 12 hours and rewards the player with 420 and 100 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

After tapping on Gymnastic Lisa's exclamation mark:

Homer: That's my little girl. Who's got your Daddy's athletic genes?

Lisa: Your genes are exactly my problem. How am I ever going to pass gym class?

Then the player receives "Little Girl in the Big Ten Pt. 4", which is to "Make Gymnastic Lisa Dream about Passing Gym Class". The task takes 24 hours and rewards the player with 600 and 150.

After the task is completed:

Lisa: Dad, I dreamt I could get an A in gym class. And nothing one dreams could possibly not come true.

Lugash: After seeing your gymnastics, I agree -- ideas of you succeeding is just dream. So say Lugash! To be great takes total dedication. All time invested in training. Until when mind think of losing, it also think "I AM DYING! THIS IS DEATH!"

Homer: If you're promising to take up all of my daughter's time with grueling psychological torments, then I think we have a deal.

Then the player receives the reward for completing "Little Girl in the Big Ten Pt. 4", 100 and 10.

After unlocking Bare-Chested Willie, receiving 25 for doing so and tapping on his exclamation mark:

Milhouse: Help! Snake!

Bare-Chested Willie: Put down that appetizer, Snakey -- it's time for the main course!

Then the player receives "Getting All Tarzan", which is to "Make Bare-chested Willie Wrestle a Snake". The task takes 60 minutes and rewards the player with 1 and 17 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

After tapping on Bare-Chested Willie's exclamation mark:

Bare-Chested Willie: Thanks for the warm up, snakey. Time for ma work out.

Then the player receives "Fit As A Butcher's Dog", which is to "Make Bare-chested Willie Do One-finger Push Ups". The task takes 12 hours and rewards the player with 420 and 100 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

After tapping on Bare-Chested Willie's exclamation mark:

Skinner: Willie, I noticed that you're only half dressed.

Bare-Chested Willie: Aye.

Skinner: Do you think that's appropriate attire for a school?

Bare-Chested Willie: With wash-board abs like this, I don't have to think.

Skinner: Hmm, wash-board abs. And today is laundry day... Go ahead and keep your shirt off, Willie. I've got a job for you!

Then the player receives "Stomaching The Chore", which is to "Make Bare-Chested Willie Use Wash Board Abs". The task takes 24 hours and rewards the player with 600 and 150 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

After tapping on Bare-Chested Willie's exclamation mark:

Bare-Chested Willie: Here's yer smalls.

Skinner: Thank you Willie. And you even got the stains out! Perhaps later I can get you to do a load of darks.

Bare-Chested Willie: *sigh* I'll be in my shack.

Then the player receives "Warming The Belly", which is to "Make Bare-Chested Willie Enjoy a Wee Shot of Highland Moonshine". The task takes 8 hours and rewards the player with 275 and 70 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

Drederick Tatum

After tapping on Tatum's exclamation mark:

Tatum: I can't believe I had to move back to Springfield. I was hoping doing the Hangover sequels would be my rock bottom.

Apu: Drederick Tatum! What an honor! I studied your "Rock 'em , Sock 'em" workouts to learn how to defend my Kwik-E-Mart.

Tatum: Those DVD's paid for a lake house in Switzerland . . . for my accountant after he stole my money. I've had to scale back my extravagant lifestyle. Now if you'll excuse me, I have to walk my tiger.

Then the player receives "The Champ's Come-Back Pt. 2", which is to "Make Tatum Walk the Tiger". The task takes 4 hours and rewards the player with 175 and 45 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

After tapping on Homer's exclamation mark:

Homer: Ooh, nice tiger! I told Marge they were safe as pets.

Tatum: Homer Simpson! It's been too long since I gave you severe brain damage.

Homer: Oh don't worry. My tough is brain.

Tatum: Let me buy you a big unhealthy dinner. After the beating I gave you, I think it's only fair I help you die faster so you no longer feel pain.

Then the player receives "The Champ's Come-Back Pt. 3", which is to "Reach Level 16 and Build the Gilded Truffle", "Make Tatum Dine at the Truffle" and "Make Homer Dine at the Truffle". The tasks each take 2 hours and each reward the player with 110 and 27, when completed on their own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

After tapping on Tatum's exclamation mark:

Tatum: I feel full, Homer. My body is not used to eating something that isn't raw eggs. I gotta go for a run to stay in shape.

Homer: And I need to take a nap so I can stay in shape. That shape is spherical.

Then the player receives "The Champ's Come-Back Pt. 4", which is to "Make Tatum Stay in Shape" and "Make Homer Way Over Sleep for a Power Nap". The tasks takes 24 hours and 4 hours respectively and reward the player with 600 and 150 and 175 and 45, respectively, each when completed on their own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

Miss Springfield

After tapping on Miss Springfield's exclamation mark:

Miss Springfield: Ooo, behave boys. You don't all have to hiss for my attention at once.

Homer: Excuse me, Ma'am Springfield, but those aren't people. Those are snakes.

Miss Springfield: All men are.

Homer: We're whacking them with sticks, if you want to join in.

Miss Springfield: When I was awarded Miss Springfield, I said I wanted to protect all the creatures of the world. But I only meant the cute ones.

Then the player receives "More Than a Pretty Face - A Pretty Body Too Pt. 2", which is to "Make Miss Springfield Attempt to Whack Snakes". The task take 12 hours and rewards the player with 5 and 100 when completed on its own.

As soon as the player starts the task:

Miss Springfield: This is really helping me through some of my issues.

Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

After tapping on Miss Springfield's exclamation mark:

Miss Springfield: Chasing snakes is high heels is not easy. I've worked up such a sweat... and Mama always said no one would love me if they knew how I smelled.

Then the player receives "More Than a Pretty Face - A Pretty Body Too Pt. 3", which is to "Make Miss Springfield Stay in and Wash her Hair". The task take 12 hours and rewards the player with 420 and 100 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

Miss Springfield: Now that I'm here, I need to get some essentials: jewelry, facial scrubs, and purse-sized dogs. And I wasn't given this moneymaker not to make some money.

Then the player receives "A Model Life Pt. 1", which is to "Make Miss Springfield Work it". The task take 24 hours and rewards the player with 600 and 150 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

Miss Springfield: All that parading around and the only guy who asked me out tonight was that groundskeeper that talks like Braveheart! I guess I know what I'm doing tonight...

Then the player receives "A Model Life Pt. 2", which is to "Make Miss Springfield Stay in and Wash her Hair". The task take 12 hours and rewards the player with 420 and 100 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

Miss Springfield: Another fan letter. But since I don't read very well, I don't know if it's from a stalker or a pervert. I've got to like smarten up my head thingie.

Then the player receives "A Model Life Pt. 3", which is to "Reach Level 12 and Build Springfield Library" and "Make Miss Springfield Take Reading Lessons". Miss Springfield's task take 8 hours and rewards the player with 275 and 70 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

After tapping on Miss Springfield's exclamation mark:

Quimby: Aw, Miss Springfield. This town may be a cesspool amound pools of cess, but your face makes it one of the most beautiful in the world.

Miss Springfield: Oh, Mayor. I love how you flatter me when you give me presents. Oooo, this is shinny.

Quimby: It was my mother's. I borrowed it from her wing of the museum. Are you still abiding in, um, the same suite of the Sleep-Easy Motel?

Miss Springfield: I am. But I don't sleep so good there. I toss and turn all night.

Quimby: That, er um, sounds great. I love tossing and turning.

Then the player receives "A Model Life Pt. 4", which is to "Reach Level 20 and Build the Town Hall" and "Make Miss Springfield Enjoy an Evening with the Mayor". Miss Springfield's task takes 3 minutes and rewards the player with 12 and 4 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

After tapping on Miss Springfield's exclamation mark:

Miss Springfield: *giggles* Diamond Joe. Wow, this was the most adequate night of my life.

Quimby: I love spending time with you, darling. Now let us never speak of this or tell anyone about it.

Miss Springfield: But my little Quimblebee, I want to take our relationship public. With an enormous ring. That I can pretend not be showing off.

Quimby: Sweetheart, don't you, er, um, have an official occasioning to commencerate?

Miss Springfield: You're right. And I need to practice. "GENTLEmen, start your - " No. "GentleMEN, start your - "

Then the player receives "A Model Life Pt. 5", which is to "Make Miss Springfield Open an Event". The task takes 60 minutes and rewards the player with 70 and 17 when completed on its own. Upon completing the quest, the player receives 100 and 10.

Whacking Licenses

Expert Whacking License

Elite Whacking License

The Expert Whacking License, a prize, is unlocked after the player collects whacked 400 and completes "008: License to Whack". It allows the player to whack 5 snakes in a friend's town each day.

The Elite Whacking License, which is not a prize, is available for purchase after the player completes "008: License to Whack". It costs 50 and allows the player to whack 10 snakes in a friend's town each day.

New notices that appear during the event, and notices that were introduced during the event.

	The notice appears once the player tries to place an egg in their friend's town but has no more collected.
	The notice appears after a friend has planted egg(s) in the player's town. Note: '11' refers to the amount of snake eggs planted in the player's town.
	The notice appears after the player tries to spend a certain amount of donuts, but only if "Confirm Donut Spend" is turned on in the player's options. Note: '40' refers to the amount of donuts the player would spend if they tapped on 'YES'.
	The notice appears if the player tries to place a building/decoration and is over the 3000 building/decoration limit.
	The notice appears if the player has reached the 3000 building/decoration limit.
"Tap on free areas of ground to place snake eggs in your friend's town."	The notice appears before the player places an egg in a friend's town for the first time.
	The notice will appear if the player wants to store a character unlocked with a building into the inventory. Note: 'Sideshow Mel' refers to the character being stored and 'Krustylu Studios' refers to the building being stored if the player taps 'Store'.
	The notice will appear if the player wants to store a character not unlocked with a building into the inventory. Note: 'Squeaky Voice Teen' refers to the character being stored.
	The notice will appear if the player tries to hatch a snake from a snake egg but has too many snakes in their Springfield to do so.
	The notice appears after the player unlocks the Expert Whacking License.
