The Simpsons: Tapped Out Crook and Ladder content update, previously known as "Springfield Fire Department", was released on March 31, 2016 and was the one hundred and twentythird content update. It included 4 new costumes, 1 new building, and 3 new decorations. It's based on the Season 17 episode Crook and Ladder. It was rumored on the release of the Level 35 content update and listed in the game files in the Treehouse of Horror XXIV update. A temporary event guide and icon were in the files of the Thanksgiving 2015 update.

• Fixed a small glitch in animation of Hugs Bunny's Battle Homer and The Grumple's Fight Homer jobs.
• Lisa's Research What Kids Are Into is now located at Springfield Elementary or Simpson House.
• Fixed a bug that made Tailgate's characters roaming Springfield, detached from the decoration.
• Mona was added to the Regular Characters, Regular Female, Parents and Adult character groups.
• Becky was added to the Adult, Premium Characters and Premium Female character groups.
• Apu, Sanjay and the Octuplets' skin tone was darkened.
• In the info screen, Privacy & Cookie Policy was changed to Privacy and Cookie Policy.
