History

Gus Gustavson visited The Old Bacon-Fudge Hut while filming an episode of his food reality show, Stuff Me. Restaurant worker Stan presented Gustavson with the establishment's "challenge" dish, the "Fudginator". Stan described it as "Two pounds of applewood-smoked bacon enrobed in three pounds of our buttery-rich maple fudge." Gustavson polished it off in just under four minutes, winning a T-shirt reading "I Beat the Fudginator" and an ambulance ride to the hospital.
