Quimby - Surprised Thomas Jefferson?
Thomas Jefferson - Confused You know me?
Quimby - Smug Yes. You're on the $2 bill.
Thomas Jefferson - Surprised Memorialized in currency you say? What a fine tribute.
Quimby - Embarrassed Well, er, I'm not sure it's as big a deal as you think.
Thomas Jefferson And who might you be?
Quimby Joe Quimby, Mayor of Springfield. Hence the, er, sash.
Thomas Jefferson Springfield, eh. May I guess in which state?
Quimby - Deadpan If you, er, must...

Quimby Are you going to make your guess, er, out loud?
Thomas Jefferson No, I'm convinced I know the answer.
Quimby Is that, er, so?
Thomas Jefferson - Annoyed Are you questioning my knowledge of the nation I helped found? Sir, I was the author of the Declaration of American Independence and the Statute of Virginia for Religious Freedom, and father of the University of Virginia.
Quimby - Annoyed I didn't hear "geography scholar" in there.

Pt. 2

After tapping on Thomas Jefferson's exclamation mark
Thomas Jefferson I'm basing my guess on your quaint regional accent which I find reminiscent of John Adams.
Quimby Yeah well, er, it's more like a later President.
Thomas Jefferson Oh, you must mean his son John Quincy.
Quimby I've been mayor for over 35 years and I've never been compared to, er, John Quincy Adams.
Thomas Jefferson - Confused You've been mayor for over 35 years?
Quimby - Proud That's right. Diamond Joe Quimby's motto is "Leadership you count on. And on and on and on."
Thomas Jefferson - Annoyed That sounds more like tyranny than leadership!
Quimby - Surprised Who've you been talking to?
Thomas Jefferson - Annoyed Citizens of Springfield! Hearken to my voice! When in the course of human events...
Task: "Make Thomas Jefferson Declare a Declaration". The job takes 4 hours.
If Quimby is owned: Task: "Make Quimby Run Off". The job takes place at Visitable Homes and takes 4 hours.

Cletus - Enthused Boy, you sure talk purdy!
Thomas Jefferson - Confused Thank you, sir. What became of your Mayor?
Cletus - Worried Quimby? He done did a runner whilst you were self-evidenting your truths.
Thomas Jefferson - Happy Splendid. I have sworn eternal hostility against every form of tyranny.
Cletus - Smiling That's just what I'm always swearin' against with Brandine. But she don't like when I swear.

Pt. 3

After tapping on Thomas Jefferson's exclamation mark
Cletus Say, you're the feller on the nickel, ain't ya?
Thomas Jefferson - Surprised Currency AND coinage?! What an even finer tribute!
Cletus Well, er, I'm not sure it's as big a deal as you think.
Thomas Jefferson Tell me more about my modern legacy.
Cletus Shucks, y'all better go talk to the folks up at the school fer that...
Cletus ...'cause you is wearin' high stockins and buckled shoes and that ain't no modern leg-I-see. *runs off*

Thomas Jefferson - Happy Ahh, you must be a scholar of our nation's founding.
Skinner Not exactly. Mother made me shell out two grand for Hamilton tickets.
Thomas Jefferson - Confused Hamilton? As in Alexander?
Skinner Yes, it's musical theater. But I don't think you'd like it.
Thomas Jefferson - Confused No? But I adore theater. I saw Moliere's original work in Paris. George Washington and I met at the theater. What makes you say I wouldn't like it?
Skinner - Nervous Well, um... you don't come off too well in it...

Lisa - Happy Principal Skinner, who are you talking to?
Skinner - Happy Oh, thank goodness, Lisa Simpson, this is Thomas Jefferson.
Thomas Jefferson Enchanté, mademoiselle.
Lisa - Blushing *giggles*
Skinner Lisa, maybe you can explain to Mr. Jefferson how he is perceived in the modern world. *runs off*
Thomas Jefferson - Annoyed Just a minute. You called him "Principal". Am I to be lectured by a child instead of by the school's master?
Lisa - Annoyed Yes, well, maybe we should start with that word: "master".

Lisa - Sad I'm sorry, President Jefferson.
Thomas Jefferson - Annoyed Does it count for naught that I was the author of the Declaration of American Independence and the Statute of Virginia for Religious Freedom, and father of the University of Virginia?
Lisa - Defeated Let's just say, there are other complicating factors.
Quest reward: Cash100 and XP10

Pt. 5

After tapping on Thomas Jefferson's exclamation mark
Thomas Jefferson No, this won't do at all.
Lisa - Confused Mr. President?
Thomas Jefferson - Annoyed I must redeem my image in the eyes of modern Americans. Do people know of the Louisiana Purchase, which more than doubled the size of our great nation?

Thomas Jefferson - Annoyed Aaaargh!
Quest reward: Cash100 and XP10

Pt. 6

After tapping on Thomas Jefferson's exclamation mark
Thomas Jefferson - Happy I have a solution! I'll make another great purchase and then my legacy will be restored.
Lisa - Curious Uh, what are you thinking of purchasing?
Thomas Jefferson Why, property, of course! The greatest investment anyone can make.
Lisa - Nervous I don't know... Becoming a real estate tycoon may not be the best way for a former president to win universal acclaim these days.
Thomas Jefferson How would you spend my money?
Lisa Hmm, for the cost of a decent-sized piece of property in Springfield... you could get two tickets to Hamilton.
Task: "Make Thomas Jefferson Look for Another Great Purchase". The job takes 4 hours.
Thomas Jefferson - Confused I can't live here. The game developers didn't create Monticello, so I have no home.
Lisa Oh, don't worry about it. You'll spend nearly all your time wandering around the streets or hiding in one of the Brown Houses.
Thomas Jefferson - Annoyed But I was the author of the Declaration of American Independence and the Statute of Virginia for Religious Freedom, and father—
