Synopsis

"Marge gets a job in a high-pressure ghost kitchen, but when she tries to start a union, she gets more than she collectively bargained for."

Plot

Lisa takes Snowball for a walk in a strolley, meeting Crazy Cat Lady, and arrives at the Little Vest Park, where other Springfielders take their pet and their emotional support animals, but things get haywire when Snowball attacks a girl's chicken, while the girl was saying that it can't be here as it's not vested and Lisa was replying how compassionate it is.

At the Tweeter Sinai Bird Hospital, the veterinarian cures the chicken, Gwyneth Poultry, but the mother presents the bill, $16,000, to the Simpsons to cover it, and so Marge commits to get a job to pay for it, and she applies to be a cook for the GimmeChow app.

Gil is their shift manager presents the job and they accept, but when the job starts, the list of orders is too much to take and they all scramble to prepare the food, with Marge slipping on mayonnaise and saying the f-word.

Two months later she wakes up in the afternoon, having missed the whole day with her family, and they lie to her about having cooked dinner together as a family to make her happy. When she leaves for work, they order from GimmeChow their food like they've been doing for two months.

Gil gives everyone smartwatches for their goodjob, but they're just ankle watches that monitor if they go inactive. Marge goes to protest for the not payed overtime and Gil tells her that since it goes past midnight they're considered new days instead, then the ankle watch shocks her because she was idle, while Gil explains that the company is a start-up and that money is tight.

The next day Demented Dollar$ with Fiscal Cliff announces how the owner, Finn Bon Idee, is the new millionaire, who responses he's the one that works harder at the company. Marge gets angry and starts crying, with Lisa coming to consolate her, feeling guilty for it being her fault. Hearing Finn's word on tv, Lisa proposes her to start a union.

Marge organizes a union with the other workers, but the company hears about it with the watches and Gil shows them a video against unions, which instad incites them to sign up the union card. Marge gets home and announces it to Homer, that tells her that company people are vengeful.

In fact, the next morning Gil tells Marge she's been promoted to delivery driver and she has to deliver 40 orders in 60 minutes or she's fired. After a crazy ride around town, she fails to deliver the last order, which she finds out is at her house. She gets fired by Gil, laughing maniacally, and gets so angry she smashes the watch and then starts eating all the food.

She points out that the jug with the money hasn't been going up because they always order food from the app. She is feeling down after being betrayed by her own family, and then the other workers show up telling her they went on strike, with the other delivery app workers too.

Homer gets so hungry because he can't get food from any app in town he almost created a massive electro-magnetic pulse all over town, and gets invited at Demented Dollar$. In the debate, Marge finds out that Homer has become the GimmeChow's new brand ambassador.

The debate gets heated at that point, and the strike goes on the city center, where the other Springfielders however come in to attack and start a fight, when an helicopter descends upon them, with Finn coming out of it saying he has found a way to end the strike, by firing everyone, announcing it'll be fully robotic.

Finn makes Homer realize his screw up, and when he gets delivered a bad fried food, he gets a realization, to stop Finn he has to fry the electronic devices using the Power Plant pulse.

GimmeChow stocks tank and Finn literally gets flattened by a Dement Dollar$ tank. Homer goes back home and embraces Marge in a happy ending, as they used the gift cards to pay the debt and Finn was forced to hire everyone and paying overtime.
