This is a List of staff members who have appeared in The Simpsons. Various writers, animators and producers have been inserted into shows as background characters. While these are often minor and non-vocal, there are a few instances where these characters have lines, such as in "The Front" and "The Itchy & Scratchy & Poochie Show". Matt Groening and James L. Brooks have both voiced themselves in episodes.
