Goodnight Buffoon is a Simpsons Comics One-Shot Wonders story that appears in One-Shot Wonder – Maggie #1.

Synopsis

In a richly illustrated poem, the narrator takes stock of various people and places in Springfield, then says "good night" to them all.

In the little pink house

There was a couch

And a cable TV

And a painting of-

A sailboat at sea

And three happy eleves

Sitting on shelves

And a four-legged stool

And a puddle of drool

And a cat

And a puppy

And a three-eyed guppy

And a rug and a lamp

And a girl with a bow

On the gut of a fat man muttering...

D'oh!

There were figurines

And childhood dreams

An unfaithful mayor

With a bimbo taxpayer

A pimple-faced teen

And a milkshake machine

A greedy bartender

And an old three-speed blender

A sleepy scycophant

And a shoddy power plant
