Frederick J. "Fred" Gardner III (born March 20, 1967) is an American Emmy Award winning former animator for The Simpsons. He served as a character layout artist, background designer, character/prop designer and main title animator. He worked under the supervision of Director, David Silverman. Frederick Gardner has several cameos in Season 2 and 3 and an incidental character, he designed Burn's dogs (Doberman Pinchers) and he completely animated the Itchy & Scratchy cartoon, "Sundae Bloody Sundae".
