Kang and Kodos were watching the sixth game in the world series and wanted it to ending so The Simpsons' Halloween Special can air. After a while, Kodos fired the Accele-Ray but Kang thought it was still boring so he ordered Kodos to speed up the Accele-Ray. Kodos mentioned that the fabric of the universe itself may shatter. Kang told Kodos that it's good as only then the Cubs will finally win.[4]
