Sam owns the restaurant, where he marinates corn for days in a mixture of corn squeezings, possum squeezings, and butter. The first episode of Man vs. Beast vs. Food was filmed at Sam's Smoke Shack, where Aporkalypse competed in a barbecued corn-eating contest against Homer, and Homer won the contest.
