Last year (yesterday), I started a discussion about this on Talk:The Great Phatsby. I think that Al Jean may not be an "ultimate source" when it comes to airdates as he is not who sets them, but FOX is. So, until a press release or a promotional media confirms it, IMO we shouldn't consider January 15 as the airdate, 'cause what we got are press releases that not only do not confirm that airdate, but they actually contradict Al Jean. / Loco87 ^{(TALK / Contribs)} 13:31, January 1, 2017 (EST)

Just a few hours ago, the NFL released their playoff schedule, and decided to give Fox a 4:40 PM NFL playoff game on BOTH 1/8 and 1/15! So I would expect new episodes on both nights since the football lead-in would give the show a ratings boost. The Futon Critic still lists Pork and Burns on 1/18, and a repeat of Havana Wild Weekend on 1/15. Expect this to change ASAP, and for "The Great Phatsby" to air one of these two dates. Lastly, a repeat of "Friends and Family" will air on 1/22. Don't expect this to change, as CBS will be airing the AFC Championship game during that time. Episodes names with " ' " in them[edit]

Is there a way to change all ep. names with ' in the title to have the episode and season added like we just did? like with SolarBot?

I really don't know what happens exactly (I haven't tried to fix it or to find the problem). Just know there's this issue with titles containing " ' ". In the case of episodes, someone added a way to add the episode number and the season. In the case of TSTO updates, I don't know what to do. I wouldn't know how to do it with AWB (the software I use for my bot). Solar might know how to do this task with other bot software. You should ask him. I'm not quite active lately, but this will change next week. I'm a bit busy right now. Gotta do some things I've had time to do and waited til the last minute (not the best way to do stuff). Before Wikisimpsons decided that grabpics should be replaced by screenshots (if no official images like official artworks or TSTO unlock pics are available), I once did some "research" on the net in order to find "grabpics". As a result, I found a blog that had a few full-body character grabpics. I've just seen the blog now and has lots of images more than the last time I visited it(long time ago). I guess the image you're asking me about should be replaced for a screenshot. Tsto situation[edit]

Hey. I ve got a new update on tsto on the files.some of the text files are jumbled up so no info can be gathered including the gameconfig file of the new event that has all the dates costs etc. I have come to a point where doing this files has become too taxing and taking too much of my time and getting now this from ea makes me just wanna stop. I'll still play the game but doing all the stuff i dont wanna anymore. Wont stop updating the episode pages though since they dont take time at all but re. Tsto i am off the hook. I haven't played TSTO since fall 2016(I think). I understand what you say. Developing decent TSTO pages takes up far more time than episode pages. And I don't have that time. Anyways, I came here to ask about something, a script image you uploaded for Homer Is Where The Art Isn't. This is what I need to know: Where did you get the image? I made minor changes to the template. Subpages are private areas, but if you create a page in the userspace that is intended to be mainspaced, it shouldn't be a problem that another user edits it (unless it's for vandalism, which was not my intention). If you want to make any changes to my template you're welcome to do so, as long as they improve the template (even minor improvements are welcome). Of course I did not think pages of the Main namespace will use templates from the User area. If I settle the final version I create a page in the Template namespace. (Unless you are the faster. :-)

These are my experimental pages therefore I expect them being unchanged next day when I return and I want to test some other thing. (Especially when we do not agree totally what change is improvement and what isn't.) Please feel free to make a local copy of them if you wish to play but do not modify my toys until I ask you. For example: I put on my talkpage a request for folks to please let me know if they knew of any Walking Dead or Wonder Years references, as I was trying to collect enough references to build articles for those shows. I was expecting replies on my talkpage, but Loco87 simply added Walking Dead reference #5 to the list in my sandbox. That surprised me a little, but since I never asked people to keep their hands off of it (by putting the {{WIP}}. template on it, for example), and since I'm working on something that's intended for the mainspace, Loco87's addition was perfectly fair. And, since it was in response to my appeal for references, it was darned decent of him as well! Loco87 has been on the wiki long enough that I'm confident in saying that if he makes a change like that, it's with good intent, but you also shouldn't hesitate to ask if he makes a change you're not sure of. I have a page in my userspace (User:Solar Dragon/Future) that I was working on, but ended up getting distracted then completely forgot about it... lol. I'm happy for anybody else to edit the page and add to it. And, looking at it, I just realised that I have a {{Mainspace}} template on the page. Maybe we should make it a requirement that the template needs to be on a userpage for other people to edit it? No template, other people should stay off it. The WIP template has fine print saying that it can be removed if it's been on a page for longer than a week. No episode number[edit]

See header of these pages:

Episode number 320 does not appear here. But it does on the other two tabs. I was looking some half an hour but I have no success. Have you some idea what may be the problem?

The tabs with the ep number and season in have "|season=15|number=320" added as parameters to the template. It's something to do with the punctuation in some episode titles. Commas, colons, dashes etc. all don't auto add the episode number and season to the template with the {{PAGENAME}} function. If you can find a way around this in the new template structure you're doing, that would be amazing. The Solar Dragon 08:05, July 15, 2017 (EDT)

According to MediaWiki, it seems this can be fixed by replacing all the ' with ' in the code of the template that uses the page name to obtain the epnumber. I'll change that in my template and then I'll check if that fixed it. / Loco87 ^{(TALK / Contribs)} 08:58, July 15, 2017 (EDT)

Solved (in my PrevNext version). I just had to replace the "special" characters in titles that returned nothing when used as input of the PrevNextList template (', " and &) with their numeric references and also had to change the PrevNextList (just replaced {{#switch: {{{1|}}} with {{#switch: {{PAGENAME:{{{1|}}}}}). / Loco87 ^{(TALK / Contribs)} 11:31, July 15, 2017 (EDT)

UserWiki? :-o[edit]

I really dunno. When I arrived to the wiki, the User namespace was the one used for User pages and UserWiki was no longer used. With the recent MediaWiki update, the UserWiki namespace got removed, but some weird redirects that linked to pages that were formerly from the UserWiki namespace were created as a result, so the namespace got re-added to avoid having those redirects. I guess it will be removed again once this issue is solved or something. If want more details about the UserWiki namespace, you should ask Jake or Solar Dragon. I źźźasked Solar Dragon a few weeks ago about some strange links. He did not answer but next time I checked I was surprised by the "new" UserWiki namespace where the bad links were rearranged to. I believe we used to have an extension that made use of the UserWiki namespaces, but it's no longer used. I added back the namespace to fix the broken links, but I think the goal is to eventually archive and consolidate everything into the User namespace so the UserWiki one can be retired. --Ja ke 17:20, August 13, 2017 (EDT)

Go ahead and improve the page! I want to focus on the deleted scenes page for some time. By the way, I've noticed that other films like "Nightmare on Elm Street" have been referenced multiple times on the show and still don't have an article. I think we should check what films and TV shows are referenced in each THOH episode first of all, as THOHs are the episodes with the most references and parodies. Also, about the book thing in The Twilight Zone, I think I saw an article about a Simpsons Comics similar book that maybe should be included. Cultural reference pages in progress[edit]

I've started on a few cultural references pages for movies. Since one of them is A Nightmare on Elm Street, I thought it would be good to let you know in case you wanted to chime in. Feel free to reply here or drop me a note on my talk page. Also, all of my "in progress" pages are linked from my user page so they should be easy to find. Here's what I'm currently working on:

A Nightmare on Elm Street (Only got 3 so far, all from THOH episodes, but I'm thinking there have to be more)
- Hellraiser and Friday the 13th are on my mental "down the road" list, as I keep running across references to those while looking for Nightmare references.
RoboCop (Got several from TV episodes, but I'm thinking there have to be more and in the comics as well)
The Green Mile (Haven't started compiling yet as of this writing, but I can think of 3 off the top of my head, which is a good start)
Das Boot (Done with TV episode references and almost ready to post, doing more checking to see if there are more in episodes or any in comics)
I also have an "in progress" page for Ghostbusters, but since that one involves converting an existing article into a references article, it's a bit further down the road.
