+ | :Last year (yesterday), I started a discussion about this on [[Talk:The Great Phatsby]]. I think that Al Jean may not be an "ultimate source" when it comes to airdates as he is not who sets them, but FOX is. So, until a press release or a promotional media confirms it, IMO we shouldn't consider January 15 as the airdate, 'cause what we got are press releases that not only do not confirm that airdate, but they actually contradict Al Jean. / [[User:Loco87|'''<font color=C23232><font size="4"><font face="Calibri">Loco</font></font></font><font color=92CC58><font face="Agency FB"><font size="4">87</font></font></font>''']] ([[User talk:Loco87|<font color=78D1F0><font face="Courier New">'''TALK'''</font></font>]] / [[Special:Contributions/Loco87|'''<font color=Tomato><font face="Century Gothic"><font size="2">Contribs</font></font></font>''']]) 13:31, January 1, 2017 (EST)

+ | :::Just a few hours ago, the NFL released their playoff schedule, and decided to give Fox a 4:40 PM NFL playoff game on BOTH 1/8 and 1/15! So I would expect new episodes on both nights since the football lead-in would give the show a ratings boost. The Futon Critic still lists Pork and Burns on 1/18, and a repeat of Havana Wild Weekend on 1/15. Expect this to change ASAP, and for "The Great Phatsby" to air one of these two dates. Lastly, a repeat of "Friends and Family" will air on 1/22. Don't expect this to change, as CBS will be airing the AFC Championship game during that time. <span style="font-family:Algerian;font-weight:bold;">[[User:LetsPlayNintendoITA|<span style="color:green">LetsPlay</span><span style="color:silver">Nintendo</span><span style="color:red">ITA</span>]]</span> 07:38, January 2, 2017 (EST)

That surprised me a little, but since I never asked people to keep their hands off of it (by putting the <nowiki>{{WIP}}</nowiki>. template on it, for example), '''and''' since I'm working on something that's intended for the mainspace, Loco87's addition was perfectly fair. Phatsby[edit]
jean basicly confirmed it though LetsPlayNintendoITA 10:47, January 1, 2017 (EST)
- Last year (yesterday), I started a discussion about this on Talk:The Great Phatsby. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 13:31, January 1, 2017 (EST)
- Found this:
- Just a few hours ago, the NFL released their playoff schedule, and decided to give Fox a 4:40 PM NFL playoff game on BOTH 1/8 and 1/15! Hey, still no promo images? LetsPlayNintendoITA 15:02, January 5, 2017 (EST)
- Just uploaded them. Thanks for reminding me to look if FoxFlash had uploaded any promo image. I totally forgot the episode was in three days so promo pics would be approximately released around this time. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 19:18, January 5, 2017 (EST)
- Probably Al Jean didn't read the DM on twitter cause so many write him probably ahah i'll try with a tweet instead. just once. i want that access to foxflash ahah. thanks LetsPlayNintendoITA 23:03, January 5, 2017 (EST)

Wynton Marsaslis[edit]
Hey did you catch who mentions him in the ep? I can't find it atm :( I wrote it down but forgot to write down who mentions him LetsPlayNintendoITA 21:20, January 8, 2017 (EST)
Great Phatsby images[edit]
Hi, if you get around to uploading images for The Great Phatsby, can you make a sort of montage image for The Hamptons locations as seen when they're on the bus journey please? Thanks, The Solar Dragon 11:48, January 17, 2017 (EST)
Episodes names with " ' " in them[edit]
Is there a way to change all ep. names with ' in the title to have the episode and season added like we just did? like with SolarBot?
- The same happened to TSTO updates that didn't show the name, like some ep tie-in or valentine's day LetsPlayNintendoITA 17:05, February 12, 2017 (EST)
- I really don't know what happens exactly (I haven't tried to fix it or to find the problem). Just know there's this issue with titles containing " ' ". In the case of episodes, someone added a way to add the episode number and the season. In the case of TSTO updates, I don't know what to do. Maybe add the "|number=xyz" section, where "xyz" would be the update number (what in episodes is the epnumber). / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 18:24, February 12, 2017 (EST)
- No i know that. i wanted to know if there was a way with the bot to autofix it but i doubt it. LetsPlayNintendoITA 18:58, February 12, 2017 (EST)
- I wouldn't know how to do it with AWB (the software I use for my bot). Solar might know how to do this task with other bot software. You should ask him. I'm not quite active lately, but this will change next week. I'm a bit busy right now. Gotta do some things I've had time to do and waited til the last minute (not the best way to do stuff). However, I'll make a little break later to watch the new episode airing today. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 19:15, February 12, 2017 (EST)
- Anyway the episode is up. :p I'll ask him about the bot thanks LetsPlayNintendoITA 19:50, February 12, 2017 (EST)

Charlie (MABF01) Image[edit]
Where exactly did you find this image? --Kid Sonic (talk) 00:23, March 9, 2017 (EST)
- Before Wikisimpsons decided that grabpics should be replaced by screenshots (if no official images like official artworks or TSTO unlock pics are available), I once did some "research" on the net in order to find "grabpics". As a result, I found a blog that had a few full-body character grabpics. I've just seen the blog now and has lots of images more than the last time I visited it(long time ago). I guess the image you're asking me about should be replaced for a screenshot. I'll try to do it in the next days 'cause I'm currently a bit busy. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 10:41, March 9, 2017 (EST)

What did Earl Mann do? LetsPlayNintendoITA 00:13, March 13, 2017 (EDT)
- I dunno. The name was credited as guest starring. I'll ask Al Jean. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 00:14, March 13, 2017 (EDT)
- I've asked Al Jean, but I think he's the narrator (you know, "Nelson's father"). According to IMDb, Mann has mainly done "narrator" roles in the films he's been in. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 00:24, March 13, 2017 (EDT)
- I read this: "The episode—woven together further by the silky-smooth tones of professional sports voiceover legend Earl Mann—works by essentially wallpapering over the choppy and under-realized storytelling endemic to much present-day Simpsons with the glib packaging of the feel-good (or feel-bad) sports narrative." here What could that mean? lol LetsPlayNintendoITA 01:14, March 13, 2017 (EDT)

hey, can you add the list of pets on the references page too if you take care of the Appearances'? thanks LetsPlayNintendoITA 20:46, March 19, 2017 (EDT)

The Caper Chase[edit]
Hey, I was informed that promo pics from The Caper Chase were posted. can you check the fox site please? thanks LetsPlayNintendoITA 03:09, March 25, 2017 (EDT)
- Thanks for telling. I'll upload them within the next minutes. There're six new promos. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 07:15, March 25, 2017 (EDT)
- I can see who Homer and Maggie are, maybe Bart too, but i don't get who Lisa and Marge are supposed to be from the X-Men. LetsPlayNintendoITA 08:55, March 25, 2017 (EDT)

Tsto situation[edit]
Hey. I ve got a new update on tsto on the files.some of the text files are jumbled up so no info can be gathered including the gameconfig file of the new event that has all the dates costs etc. I have come to a point where doing this files has become too taxing and taking too much of my time and getting now this from ea makes me just wanna stop. I'll still play the game but doing all the stuff i dont wanna anymore. Wont stop updating the episode pages though since they dont take time at all but re. Tsto i am off the hook. If you want i can upload to some where the image files of the update so you can update the characters and buildings images and such. LetsPlayNintendoITA 14:07, March 28, 2017 (EDT)
- I haven't played TSTO since fall 2016(I think). I understand what you say. Developing decent TSTO pages takes up far more time than episode pages. And I don't have that time. I'll be quite busy until summer. I won't be able to create TSTO update pages. Maybe Solar can, I dunno. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 17:52, March 28, 2017 (EDT)
Homer Is Where The Art Is source[edit]
Hi.
I'm not a member of this wiki, though I am a member of its sister wiki Simpsons Wiki. Go by the name Weedle McHairybug there.
Anyways, I came here to ask about something, a script image you uploaded for Homer Is Where The Art Isn't. This is what I need to know: Where did you get the image? Only asking because we're going to need a source for that image, both to report where it came from, and to see if there's any other details in the source for that episode, such as release dates or episode numbers. 98.192.64.165 15:25, June 16, 2017 (EDT) (Weedle McHairybug)
- Hi, first, I'd like to point out that Simpsons Wiki is not the sister wiki of Wikisimpsons. And secondly, Simpsons Wiki can find its own sources. Thank you, The Solar Dragon 16:32, June 16, 2017 (EDT)
- Believe me, I tried to ask the person who posted the script image on Simpsons Wiki in the first place, LetsPlayNintendoITA, on Simpsons Wiki, but he just directed me to the script image on here. I need the actual link, independent of either this wiki or Simpsons Wiki, for there to be actual meat for the episode article. 98.192.64.165 16:42, June 16, 2017 (EDT)
- Well, you can look for the source yourself. We don't have to provide you with sources because you can't be bothered to look for it yourself. The image of the script is enough for us. The Solar Dragon 16:46, June 16, 2017 (EDT)
- I looked on Bing, with the words "The Homer Is Where The Art Isn't" and Script and images, and I looked on both the webpage itself and the image tab, didn't see anything there. 98.192.64.165 18:09, June 16, 2017 (EDT) (Weedle McHairybug)

Re: Editing articles that are currently featured in the main page[edit]
Thanks for the hint. :-) --2F13 (talk) 10:59, June 18, 2017 (EDT)
- Also, here in Wikisimpsons, we keep the user talk discussions in the same page. In other words, when someone leaves a message on our talk page, we reply in our talk page. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 13:02, June 18, 2017 (EDT)
- I could not decide where to reply. In the big Wiki peoples decide individually where they want to see the answers. I checked your user page but I found nothing about this. So I think the safest way is to use your talk page. :-) --2F13 (talk) 16:26, June 18, 2017 (EDT)
- Just press Edit on your "post" and add an answer there. Easy Peazy ;) LetsPlayNintendoITA 16:31, June 18, 2017 (EDT)

Pardon?[edit]
Why did you this? [1] So far I thought User page and its subpages are private areas as in the big Wikipedia. If you want to play with template I suggested please make a copy everywhere. --2F13 (talk) 09:12, July 14, 2017 (EDT)
- I made minor changes to the template. Subpages are private areas, but if you create a page in the userspace that is intended to be mainspaced, it shouldn't be a problem that another user edits it (unless it's for vandalism, which was not my intention). If you want to make any changes to my template you're welcome to do so, as long as they improve the template (even minor improvements are welcome). Also, there's nothing bad in a user editing another user's subpage if it's with non-vandalism intention. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 13:51, July 14, 2017 (EDT)
- In my dictionary private means private. That's all.
- Of course I did not think pages of the Main namespace will use templates from the User area. If I settle the final version I create a page in the Template namespace. (Unless you are the faster. :-)
- These are my experimental pages therefore I expect them being unchanged next day when I return and I want to test some other thing. (Especially when we do not agree totally what change is improvement and what isn't.) Please feel free to make a local copy of them if you wish to play but do not modify my toys until I ask you. Thanks. I hope revoking your changes was not treated as vandalims. :-> --2F13 (talk) 14:40, July 14, 2017 (EDT)
- For example: I put on my talkpage a request for folks to please let me know if they knew of any Walking Dead or Wonder Years references, as I was trying to collect enough references to build articles for those shows. I was expecting replies on my talkpage, but Loco87 simply added Walking Dead reference #5 to the list in my sandbox. That surprised me a little, but since I never asked people to keep their hands off of it (by putting the {{WIP}}. template on it, for example), and since I'm working on something that's intended for the mainspace, Loco87's addition was perfectly fair. And, since it was in response to my appeal for references, it was darned decent of him as well! Loco87 has been on the wiki long enough that I'm confident in saying that if he makes a change like that, it's with good intent, but you also shouldn't hesitate to ask if he makes a change you're not sure of. And if you really don't want anyone else to change a page you're working on in your userspace, just put the {{WIP}} tag on top and your wishes will be honored. -- Mythigator (talk) 11:31, July 15, 2017 (EDT)
- I have a page in my userspace (User:Solar Dragon/Future) that I was working on, but ended up getting distracted then completely forgot about it... lol. I'm happy for anybody else to edit the page and add to it. And, looking at it, I just realised that I have a {{Mainspace}} template on the page. Maybe we should make it a requirement that the template needs to be on a userpage for other people to edit it? No template, other people should stay off it. But the WIP template can be used to show that you definitely don't want people editing it too. The Solar Dragon 11:36, July 15, 2017 (EDT)
- That's a good idea and should be added to the user pages policy. Also, if a user has a page in its userspace with both templates, the {{WIP}} should prevail over the mainspace template. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 12:34, July 15, 2017 (EDT)
- The WIP template has fine print saying that it can be removed if it's been on a page for longer than a week. It seems to me that the one-week limit shouldn't apply to pages in someone's userspace, so should we perhaps have a different template to place on userspace pages that you don't want others to modify? -- Mythigator (talk) 13:40, July 15, 2017 (EDT)

No episode number[edit]
See header of these pages:
- 'Tis the Fifteenth Season
- 'Tis the Fifteenth Season/Appearances
- 'Tis the Fifteenth Season/Gags
- 'Tis the Fifteenth Season/Quotes
Episode number 320 does not appear here. But it does on the other two tabs. I was looking some half an hour but I have no success. Have you some idea what may be the problem?
(BTW. So far I did not realize that there are several similar templates in Category:EpisodePrevNext Templates. These will be unified soon. :-) --2F13 (talk) 07:52, July 15, 2017 (EDT)
- The tabs with the ep number and season in have "|season=15|number=320" added as parameters to the template. It's something to do with the punctuation in some episode titles. Commas, colons, dashes etc. all don't auto add the episode number and season to the template with the {{PAGENAME}} function. If you can find a way around this in the new template structure you're doing, that would be amazing. The Solar Dragon 08:05, July 15, 2017 (EDT)
JFR: Here is an other title containing apostrophe and these headers lack seasion number too:
- All's Fair in Oven War
- All's Fair in Oven War/References
- All's Fair in Oven War/Gags
- All's Fair in Oven War/Quotes
Meanwhile "16" and "337" can be seen on two other tabs. It is strange. --2F13 (talk) 08:16, July 15, 2017 (EDT)
Also
- Homer and Ned's Hail Mary Pass
- Homer and Ned's Hail Mary Pass/References
- Homer and Ned's Hail Mary Pass/Quotes
I don't see any system. Maybe this is a bug in Mediawiki. --2F13 (talk) 08:27, July 15, 2017 (EDT)
- According to MediaWiki, it seems this can be fixed by replacing all the
'
with ' in the code of the template that uses the page name to obtain the epnumber. I'll change that in my template and then I'll check if that fixed it. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 08:58, July 15, 2017 (EDT)
- I replace
{{PAGENAME}}
with{{#titleparts:{{PAGENAME}}|1|1}}
in Template:EpisodePrevNext for while. Let's see what happens. --2F13 (talk) 11:23, July 15, 2017 (EDT)- Solved (in my PrevNext version). I just had to replace the "special" characters in titles that returned nothing when used as input of the PrevNextList template (
'
,"
and&
) with their numeric references and also had to change the PrevNextList (just replaced{{#switch: {{{1|}}}
with{{#switch: {{PAGENAME:{{{1|}}}}}

UserWiki? :-o[edit]
Sorry for lame question. :-) What is the difference between User and UserWiki namespace? --2F13 (talk) 13:23, August 12, 2017 (EDT)
- I really dunno. When I arrived to the wiki, the User namespace was the one used for User pages and UserWiki was no longer used. With the recent MediaWiki update, the UserWiki namespace got removed, but some weird redirects that linked to pages that were formerly from the UserWiki namespace were created as a result, so the namespace got re-added to avoid having those redirects. I guess it will be removed again once this issue is solved or something. If want more details about the UserWiki namespace, you should ask Jake or Solar Dragon. They're more veteran and Jake is also the server manager, so he may explain better what happened recently with those weird redirects. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 06:10, August 13, 2017 (EDT)
- I źźźasked Solar Dragon a few weeks ago about some strange links. He did not answer but next time I checked I was surprised by the "new" UserWiki namespace where the bad links were rearranged to. I asked you because you are the only editor of Help:Namespaces page so I thought you must know what the heck is this. :-) --2F13 (talk) 06:54, August 13, 2017 (EDT)
- I believe we used to have an extension that made use of the UserWiki namespaces, but it's no longer used. I added back the namespace to fix the broken links, but I think the goal is to eventually archive and consolidate everything into the User namespace so the UserWiki one can be retired. --Jake 17:20, August 13, 2017 (EDT)
The Twilight Zone[edit]
The page looks good. Congrats! Do you mind if I chime in on a couple of entries? Also, the "How to Cook Humans" book appeared in TSTO, so there can also be a video games section. -- Mythigator (talk) 18:54, August 27, 2017 (EDT)
- Go ahead and improve the page! I want to focus on the deleted scenes page for some time. By the way, I've noticed that other films like "Nightmare on Elm Street" have been referenced multiple times on the show and still don't have an article. I think we should check what films and TV shows are referenced in each THOH episode first of all, as THOHs are the episodes with the most references and parodies. Also, about the book thing in The Twilight Zone, I think I saw an article about a Simpsons Comics similar book that maybe should be included. I think it's "To Serve Man" or sth similar. / Loco87 (TALK / Contribs) 19:05, August 27, 2017 (EDT)
Cultural reference pages in progress[edit]
I've started on a few cultural references pages for movies. Since one of them is A Nightmare on Elm Street, I thought it would be good to let you know in case you wanted to chime in. Feel free to reply here or drop me a note on my talk page. Also, all of my "in progress" pages are linked from my user page so they should be easy to find. Here's what I'm currently working on:
- A Nightmare on Elm Street (Only got 3 so far, all from THOH episodes, but I'm thinking there have to be more)
- Hellraiser and Friday the 13th are on my mental "down the road" list, as I keep running across references to those while looking for Nightmare references.
- RoboCop (Got several from TV episodes, but I'm thinking there have to be more and in the comics as well)
- The Green Mile (Haven't started compiling yet as of this writing, but I can think of 3 off the top of my head, which is a good start)
- Das Boot (Done with TV episode references and almost ready to post, doing more checking to see if there are more in episodes or any in comics)
- I also have an "in progress" page for Ghostbusters, but since that one involves converting an existing article into a references article, it's a bit further down the road.
-- Mythigator (talk) 23:07, May 6, 2018 (EDT)
- Great. I'll try to help find more refs. For horror movie references, I'd suggest going through every THOH refs tab, though I assume you might already have done that. / Loco87 (Talk / Contribs) 02:51, May 7, 2018 (EDT)

Image from Started from the Bottom parody[edit]
Hi Loco!. I would like to please if you want to upload the image of a scene from the sequence that parodies the music video of "Started from the Bottom" by Drake from the episode "Gal of Constant Sorrow":
The image would be uploaded in: File:Gal_of_Constant_Sorrow_-_Started_from_the_Bottom_parody_sequence.png
But in HD quality. Greetings!. =D 104.143.209.99 21:01, February 15, 2019 (EST)
Favor to ask[edit]
Excuse me, do you upload images of animated tasks from The Simpsons: Tapped Out? If so, then I was wondering if you could upload these positions of Fireman Skinner's Wash the Truck task. (Sorry about the blurriness of the 3rd pic by the way.)--Funshine97 (talk) 22:23, July 12, 2019 (EDT)Funshine97

- Oh my gosh, Loco! Thank you so, so much! :-) --Funshine97 (talk) 17:57, July 15, 2019 (EDT)
Another favor to ask.[edit]
Excuse me, that third position of Fireman Skinner's Wash the Truck task, I think EA changed it a bit after the Crook and Ladder event was over with. Here's the one we have on this site and here's one taken from my phone. I hope you understand the difference.--Funshine97 (talk) 13:41, July 23, 2019 (EDT)
How about now? --Funshine97 (talk) 19:57, July 29, 2019 (EDT)
- There's very little difference in images, there's no need to upload a new image of it. The Solar Dragon 04:49, August 8, 2019 (EDT)
- What? I was only trying to point out the difference.--Funshine97 (talk) 04:54, August 8, 2019 (EDT)
A couple of questions[edit]
Excuse me, I have a couple of questions for you. First of all, which comic did this scene come from?
And secondly, which episode did these parts of the end credits come from?

Small favor[edit]
Excuse me, I was wondering if you could send me the victory pose of Skinner and his outfits. P.S. If another outfit for Skinner comes in a future Tapped Out event, send me it's victory pose for it too. --Funshine97 (talk) 18:52, October 29, 2019 (EDT)
- Where are you? I'm getting worried...

- Hey, stop pestering Loco asking him to upload stuff. He's busy. If you really want the images, find a way to get them yourself. Please keep discussion on talk pages relevant to the wiki. The Solar Dragon 09:00, November 5, 2019 (EST)
- Sorry. I get a little impatient these days.--Funshine97 (talk) 09:12, November 5, 2019 (EST)
