State Information
|
New Hampshire is a state of the USA. Its capital city is Concord.
History[edit]
After getting run out of Florida, the Simpson family was trying to decide on where to go for their next vacation. They were looking at a map of the US that had most of the states crossed out, which were apparently all the states that the Simpsons were no longer allowed to enter.[1]
In the American political system, New Hampshire has the distinction of traditionally being the first state to hold its Presidential primary election. However, in the election of 2008, it was supplanted by Springfield when Mayor Quimby moved Springfield's primary up several months in order to vote on the proposed bond issue to fund the rebuilding of Fast-Food Boulevard.[2]
Trivia[edit]
In New Hampshire it is against the law to dye margarine pink.[3]
