The forty-eighth content update, known as the "Days of Future Future" episode tie-in content update, for The Simpsons: Tapped Out was released in April 9, 2014. It including a tie-in for the episode "Days of Future Future". It also has a added a new character Capital City Goofball as a friend point update and gives there players that missed Maude and the Fortune Teller's Shop a new chance to buy it. Two decorations was added Cremo Bot and Homer's grave.

The player receives "Not Enough (Moral) Fiber Pt. 1" which is to "Reach Level 7 and Build a Krusty Burger" and "Make Homer eat at Krusty Burger". It takes 30 minutes and the player receives total  140 and  20 in reward.
