- The title is a reference of "Lord of the Dance".
- Alex tells Lisa not to be a "Phoebe", a character from Friends played by Lisa Kudrow. Another possible reference is when Alex asks Sherri and Terri which one of them is the evil twin, since Phoebe had an evil twin in Friends.
