Trivia

Continuity

  • Brunella Pommelhorst appears for the first time since announcing she was going to have a sex-change operation ("My Fair Laddy"). However, she looks exactly the same as before, so it would seem that she decided not to go through with the operation.

Goofs

  • Sherri, Terri and Wendell Borton move from the audience to the band.
  • The coffee mug Homer borrowed from Ned Flanders is a right-handed mug, but Ned is left-handed.
  • Ned says he and Edna have never been "formally introduced" despite meeting and talking multiple times in previous episodes, including going on a date with each other in "Alone Again, Natura-Diddily" where Ned decides the two have nothing in common.

Notes

Nedliest Catch notice.jpg
  • In UK airings, a note at the scene where Marge tells viewers to go to thesimpsons.com to vote says "Unfortunately, voting is not available in this area", and a voiceover is heard over the credits by Homer and Marge, telling viewers that in reruns or on DVDs it's too late to vote.
