In her early career started off as an assistant, occasionally doing voices, such as the voices of Truong Van Dinh from "Mr. Lisa Goes to Washington" and Amber Dempsey from "Lisa the Beauty Queen". She later worked on The Drew Carey Show as a writer and producer and went on to write the screenplay for the film Drop Dead Gorgeous.
