The family are getting ready to go to the 35th annual Springie Awards, but Homer is struggling with the neck button on his shirt. He end up accidentally swallowing the button and gestures for Marge to give him the Heimlich maneuver, which she does. Grampa comes into the room, wearing his funeral suit and the family goes to the award show. Duffman presents the show and introduces the award givers. A majority of people in town win awards, except the Simpson family. Finally, Marge wins an award for Most Underappreciated Person.
