Synopsis[edit]
- "When a new neighbor showers him with kindness, Homer thinks he's being tricked into buying a sports car at the dealership where the neighbor works—but the truth turns out to be even more sinister. Meanwhile, Lisa neutralizes Nelson after he goes on a bullying spree."
Plot[edit]
The Simpson family go to visit their new neighbors, despite Homer's complaints. They introduce themselves as Anne and Thayer Blackburn and Thayer reveals that he owns a Lambuggini Dealership. They then try to befriend the Simpsons, with Thayer inviting Homer out to play pickleball and get ice cream, and Anne inviting Marge out to get massages. At Springfield Elementary School the next day, a professor gives a presentation on bullying in an attempt to stop it from happening. However, the presentation has the opposite effect with Nelson even bulling the professor himself, and getting worse with bullying the other students.
When Homer and Thayer finish playing pickleball and get ice cream, Homer asks Thayer if he can drive his Lambuggini, which he lets Homer do. Homer has a great time with his new friend and agrees to do whatever he wants or sign whatever he wants if he can keep their friendship. Homer and Marge and Thayer and Anne then go out on a double date together, going to Sir Putt-A-Lot's and to a fancy restaurant. The next day, Homer and Marge are waken up at 7am by construction noises, which turns out to be builders remodeling the Blackburn house. Homer realizes that he signed off on it happening as he thought they would only be making small changes to the house.
That day at school, Bart is afraid to go in the main entrance as Nelson might bully him again so he tries to go through the kindergarten entrance, only to be bullied by kindergartners. Lisa then tells Bart that Nelson won't bother him anymore. In the playground, all the students are laughing at Nelson after embarrassing videos of him are uploaded to an-idiot-says-what.org, which all the students watch. Lisa then threatens to release more videos if Nelson keeps bullying kids. Later that day, Homer goes to the Lambuggini dealership to confront Thayer. Thayer then gives him a Lambuggini to borrow whilst the construction work goes on. Homer takes Marge out on a date in the new Lambuggini and they have a good time.
The next day, Bart demands that Nelson helps him drink a Sugary Coast juice box, but Nelson sprays it in Bart's face instead. Lisa then goes to upload another video to the website, but finds that she's been locked out by Hubert Wong who started working for Nelson after Nelson put his face in a toilet. Nelson then goes back to bullying kids even worse than before now that he's untouchable. At the Simpson house, Homer and Marge find that the house next door is now a large mansion that blocks the sunlight from reaching their house. After finding that the Blackburns left to go on holiday for a while, Homer and Marge just sit in the back yard and mutter to themselves about the new house.
At school, Lisa and Hubert are on their laptops, working against each other. Lisa then realizes that this activity would look bad on their college applications and the two of them stop and become friends again. Meanwhile, Bart and Nelson have forgotten why everyone was fighting in the first place and go on the see saw together. At home, Homer and Marge are still in the back yard when Lisa and Hubert go to them with a solution to the house problem. Hubert had found out that Evergreen Terrace was built on the spot where Springfield was first founded so it was a historical location. This meant that the house couldn't be remodeled, but also that Homer couldn't get house repairs done for his house. Homer then goes to the Lambuggini dealership and hands his key back to Thayer before he leaves with Marge in the Orange Station Wagon.

In the future, a video is shown on television in the Simpson house of a historical recreation of Jebediah Springfield showing a baby to the people of Springfield. The video then goes through several other historical events that took place on the site before the house was built. The Simpson house is revealed to be a museum about Springfield and the Simpsons that people are visiting.
