"When Lisa spots a new best friend from the window of the bus, she gets a taste of what life could be like with a different, more cultured family, and proceeds to try and live a double life."

Kent Brockman presents This day in Springfield history, where the origins of the School Bus is shown, then shown in the present day all ruined, with the children's all causing chaos, and Bart wants to go for the Lunch-Boxeo middle weight title, but Lisa tells him they'll never unify the titles. The match with Nelson starts, while Lisa starts singing, when she meets eyes with a girl on the sidewalk, playing the clarinet.

At dinner, the family reunites to watch U.S. Ninja Ultimate Beast Blaster on the couch, while Lisa tries to tell them about the girl she saw.
