The Internal Revenue Service, IRS for short, is the revenue service of the United States federal government.

History[edit]

The Simpson family passes the building in Washington, D.C.[1]

The IRS took over Krusty Burgers after it was found out that Krusty had been evading taxes. They then became IRS Burgers.[2]

Homer and Marge went to get audited by the IRS.[3]

Mr. Burns mentions it when talking about what they define the Power Plant: a religion.[4]
