History

When Professor Frink started coaching the Springfield Li'l Topes, he used technology, while Doctor Colossus started coaching the West Springfield Atomic Bombs, and he also used technology. After they beat the Shelbyville Raptors, they held the championship game against the Springfield Li'l Topes.

Neither of their techniques worked so the judge declared the West Springfield Atomic Bombs the winning team. A week later, they lost the World Championships to the Japanese team, who had even better technology.
