Spaced Out! is a Simpsons Comics story that appears in Simpsons Comics #218.

Synopsis

"Comic Book Guy falls asleep during a Sci-Fi DVD marathon and dreams up three thrilling astronomical adventures. First, Bart is recruited by a battle school, where he and a ragtag crew of cadets are trained to fight an alien war. Then, Lisa finds herself set adrift in space when the satellite she is tethered too is destroyed by Krusty-themed space junk. Finally, no one is safe when Homer and yet another ragtag band of misfits become Protectors of the Planets."

Comic Book Guy is going to have his sci-fi DVD marathon but before he is starting to watch it he starting to sleep. He start dreaming about the worst group of criminals in the galaxy, Gmarge, Brat the Destroyer, Mute, Racket, and Barlord. They have been arrested by the police but manages to escapes. They finds Barlord's spaceship and starting to travel with it. They are hitting by a metor and it turns out it was Supreme Intelligence Chalmers and Skinner the Accuser that was playing exteme space croquet. They found out that their next goal is the moon which is Barlord's friend and the group stating to fighting aginst them for saving the moon. Mute defeating them by giving Chalmers a pollen attack. Brat counting then playing the exteme space croquet and are hitting Grampa's house. The group are countine their travel around the space.

Dolph, Kearney, and Jimbo is in the store and starting to shoplifting meanwhile starting Comic Book Guy dream another dream. Bart is selecting to join a group space solider after be one of the best player at Space Defender. Bart is sending to the training room when he meet the other soliders, they are split in two groups, Lisa is the leader of the other one. The first mission is gets to a other side in a room without gravity. Bart's team make it after he paying Moe to turn back the gravity for a second. Bart's is a general because he won the war where cheating is fair. Bart's group is sending to the war and soon he is back with the news at the war is over beacuse the aliens sent kids to fight too and they agreed with him that was i lame so they quoited. The mayor declare the war is over and going to get teenagers to hunt each other for sport.

Bart and Milhouse is in the store and panting Comic Book Guy's face which dreaming another dream. Bart and Lisa is in space and fixing a satellite. Krusty is nearby and get rid of Laffy Meal toys that is dangerous. They are hitting and destorys their ship and Bart dies. Lisa survives and finds The Scottish Space Station where she dosen't understand how the control panel works. Bart appears as a ghost and he and his new friend give her some tips over how she can manage the control panel. The tips is not so good so Lisa just switching a button and travels back to Earth when she landing on Grampa's house.

Comic Book Guy is still sleeping and the writer decides to not wake up for he looks too peaceful.
