History

After getting run out of Florida, the Simpson family was trying to decide on where to go for their next vacation. They were looking at a map of the US that had most of states crossed out, which were apparently all the states that the Simpsons were no longer allowed to enter.[1]

Lisa was asked during band practice to explain her saxophone improvisations, "I'm wailing out for the homeless family living out of a car. The Iowa farmer whose land has been taken away by uncaring bureaucrats. The West Virginia coal-miner caught..." when Mr. Largo cut her off, "Well that's all fine and good, but Lisa, none of those unpleasant people are going to be at the recital next week."[2]
