- In the episode "Debate 109", Simmons uses Apu as an example that people are good.
- In the episode "Modern Warfare", Jeff refers to Disco Stu when talking about a student who is trying to bring disco back.
- In one episode, Brent put Marge Simpson on the list of who to not accept checks from.
- In the episode "A Tale of Two Cows" a reference to the floorboard gag is made when as the camera moves up between the floorboards two skeletons that resemble Bart and Lisa Simpson can be seen.

- In the series first episode, "I, Duckman", Duckman watches a number of old home movies, one of them depicting the Simpsons living room. His eldest son, Ajax, is also seen, dressed like Bart. Duckman is listening to the TV, on which the announcer lists the winning lottery numbers. When he realizes he won the lottery, Duckman shouts "Woo-hoo!" His younger sons, being only babies, then crawl over and eat the lottery ticket, to which Duckman cries "D'oh!" His wife is also seen, dressed like Marge.
- In the episode "Ride the High School", a boy whose appearance is similar to that of Bart's is seen at the boarding school for gifted children.
- In the episode "It's the Thing of the Principal" Duckman shouts "D'oh!" at the end.
- Homer appeared at the end of the episode called "Duckman and Cornfed in 'Haunted Society Plumbers'". In the episode, Duckman and Cornfed try to recover a stolen jewel. They believe there is a ghost involved, who at the end happens to be Homer. While the credits roll, Homer fails several times trying to repeat his line. Dan Castellaneta was the guest star voice for this episode.
- "Channel Chasers": When Timmy, Wanda and Cosmo go inside their TV, one TV show they travel into is a parody of The Simpsons. It features a chalkboard gag parody, parodies of Krusty, Ned Flanders, and Barney, and a couch gag.
- In "The Automated Animated Adventure", while in the computer, Mr. Sprocket changes Garfield's image into Bart Simpson.

- In the episode "Trojan Horse", Special Agent Anthony DiNozzo was talking to a person over the phone, asking if he knew some people. The guy over the phone misheard him and thought he said Adam West, which then led to them discussing Burt Ward and his appearance on The Simpsons. Tony asked which episode he appeared in before his boss, Leroy Jethro Gibbs, walked into the room.
- In the episode "The Night Out", Karen says she woke up and had four fingers like the Simpsons.
- A Britney Spears imitator says that her sisters show Zoey 101 is better than animated shows like The Simpsons.

- In The Spongebob Squarepants Movie, there is a scene in which Spongebob and Patrick eat sundaes in an ice cream bar. After eating a large amount of ice cream, both act drunk and burp exactly like Barney Gumble. This could be a reference to Barney.
- In "Tiny Toon Adventures: How I Spent My Vacation", Elmyra Duff cuts a lions hair making him look like Bart.

- In the game, a hat is available to the Medic called "Ze Goggles" with the description stating that it does "nothing", a reference to a line from Ranier Wolfcastle in the episode "Radioactive Man", which has become a popular internet meme.
- In a blog post on the TF2 website explaining the development of the class "Demoman" (a black Scottish cyclops), the developers mentioned that they made the character black because at the time it looked too much like a "Groundskeeper in Springfield".
- In the level "Stadium", the zeppelin hovering overhead reads "Duf Beer".
- In the level "Going Postal", in the bathroom there is wrote something backwards in the wall. Looking in the mirror it reads "Pick Up Bart". This is a reference to the episode "Brother from the Same Planet", in which Milhouse wrote that on the wall written (which itself is a reference to The Shining).
- In the level "Critical Mass", there is a secret place which has wrote on the wall "Sector 7-G" and a large computer with a lot of donuts in it.
Books
- Jamie, Alicia and Danny accidentally barged into a family. The father was wearing a Homer Simpson T-Shirt.
- Darren and Evra decided to get a television when they got back to the Cirque du Freak, if only for reruns of The Simpsons.
