"Homer and Her Sisters" is the ninth episode of season 36 of The Simpsons. It will air on Dember 15, 2024. The episode was written by Nick Dahan and directed by Matthew Nastuk. It guest stars Susie Essman as Aunt Sadie, Ike Barinholtz as Wayne the Grip, and Jay Pharoah as Drederick Tatum.
Synopsis
- "After a fight in an escape room, Krusty's truth-telling Aunt fixes Homer's relationship with Patty and Selma."
Plot
For Patty and Selma's birthday, the Simpsons family goes to Fun Once Escape Rooms for a puzzle party. Squeaky-voiced teen tells them they can use a hint system but Selma informs him they won't need it. While teen closes the door, Bart excapes through the door and the countdown of one hour starts. Immediately, Homer uses two hints, for how to open a painted door and how to insult the sisters, angering them as he broke their streak and they start fighting. Marge separates them.
Meanwhile, Krusty's aunt, Sadie, visits him to join Sideshow Mel's podcast, which Krusty had no idea it was a thing. AT Earmoose Studios, Mel is recording Talking Krusty: the Official Rewatch Podcast with Wayne the Grip and Jodie from props. Krusty and Sadie barge in and his aunt suggests him to join the podcast with his friends from work.
