Expensive Expansion is an event-exclusive questline in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was introduced in the Itchy & Scratchy Land content update.

Pt. 1[edit]

After tapping on Itchy's exclamation mark Itchy not like being TV star. Spend all day schmoozing affiliates. Want stabby-stabby again. Itchy, we're in a critical phase of the park's development. We've got some amazing plans for new rides. What rides? I'll know as soon as the focus group comes up with them. Task: "Make Itchy Be Confused by This Reality". The job takes 8 hours. If Diane is owned: Task: "Make Diane Run a Focus Group". The job takes place at the Itchy & Scratchy Land Gate and takes 4 hours. Task: "Make Springfielders Focus Group New Rides" (x10). The jobs take place at the Itchy & Scratchy Land Gate and take 4 hours. For our park's next thrilling attraction, the focus group has chosen... a log ride! What? That's the most boring of all possible options! Never doubt focus groups. They're the reason my shows pull in over ten viewers a night. Quest reward: 100 and 10

After tapping on Itchy's exclamation mark What if Itchy stand at end of log ride, and stab every other rider? That seem fresh. Interesting pitch. I'll let you know how I feel about it after the focus group weighs in. Itchy suspicious of corporate culture that produce people like you. Task: "Unlock the Log Ride". Task: "Make Springfielders Staff Rides" (x3). The jobs take place at IS Attractions and take 4 hours. I give log ride five stars for fun. Zero stars for stabby-stabby. Quest reward: 100 and 10

After tapping on Bart's exclamation mark I just tried to find a souvenir license plate with "Bart" on it, and nothing! What gives?! Well, "Bart" is a very unusual name. Is it a variation of "Bort"? We have lots of Bort plates. "Bort"? No one is named Bort. *laughs* What about President Bort Bortson? He was right after Lincoln. That's a lie! Probably. There are no "Borts"! Task: "Unlock Bort".
