Expensive Expansion is an event-exclusive questline in The Simpsons: Tapped Out. It was introduced in the Itchy & Scratchy Land content update.

Itchy - Sad Itchy not like being TV star. Spend all day schmoozing affiliates. Want stabby-stabby again.
Diane Itchy, we're in a critical phase of the park's development. We've got some amazing plans for new rides.
Itchy What rides?
Diane I'll know as soon as the focus group comes up with them.
Task: "Make Itchy Be Confused by This Reality". The job takes 8 hours.
If Diane is owned: Task: "Make Diane Run a Focus Group". The job takes place at the Itchy & Scratchy Land Gate and takes 4 hours.
Task: "Make Springfielders Focus Group New Rides" (x10). The jobs take place at the Itchy & Scratchy Land Gate and take 4 hours.
Diane - Happy For our park's next thrilling attraction, the focus group has chosen... a log ride!
Bart - Confused What? That's the most boring of all possible options!
Diane Never doubt focus groups. They're the reason my shows pull in over ten viewers a night.

Itchy - Happy What if Itchy stand at end of log ride, and stab every other rider? That seem fresh.
Diane Interesting pitch. I'll let you know how I feel about it after the focus group weighs in.
Itchy - Sad Itchy suspicious of corporate culture that produce people like you.
Task: "Unlock the Log Ride".
Task: "Make Springfielders Staff Rides" (x3). The jobs take place at IS Attractions and take 4 hours.
Itchy I give log ride five stars for fun.
Itchy - Annoyed Zero stars for stabby-stabby.
