Synopsis

Plot
The Simpsons go to the Art in the Park event where Lisa bumps into Sherri, Terri, and Janey, who are doing a scavenger hunt for Francine's birthday party. They went to Art in the Park to get a picture of something sad. When Lisa realized that she hadn't been invited because she was a party narc, they took a picture of Lisa. Meanwhile, Marge bought a small wooden box and some polish for it, which contained carnauba wax. Meanwhile, Homer saw an old man with a man bun in his hair and started mocking him until he realized that it was Grampa. Grampa went over to them and introduced Homer and Marge to his new girlfriend, Blythe, who he had been seeing for six months. They met at the Retirement Castle when Blythe was hired to cleanse the auras of the residents with a therapeutic sound bath. Grampa also revealed that he was moving in with Blythe.
Homer and Marge go to have dinner with Blythe and Grampa and they find that Blythe has a son, Calvin. Homer thinks that Calvin is a weird kid so Grampa would hate him, but Grampa treats Calvin better that he treated Homer. Upon seeing this, Homer starts to treat Calvin with disdain and pushes the food that Calvin and Grampa made together away. During dinner, Calvin gave Grampa his eye drops, which made him partially blind. During dinner, Homer also found out that Calvin did taxidermy.
At the Retirement Castle, Bart and Lisa go to retrieve Grampa's denture cup. When they find out that Grampa has the room booked for two more weeks still, they decide to throw a party in Grampa's room so Lisa will become popular. Back at the house, Homer finds that he's allergic to the carnauba wax in the polish that Marge had been using on every surface in the house, so he had to go and stay with Grampa and Blythe. Homer stays in Calvin's room but the pair end up fighting due to Homer's dislike of Calvin. They then start a prank war with each other, escalating their pranks constantly. At the Retirement Castle, Bart and Lisa throw a party, which proves to be a massive hit with the kids.
Homer drives Calvin to his taxidermy class at Second Life Taxidermy. After mocking Calvin and taxidermy, Homer goes to Moe's Tavern where he complains to his friends about Calvin. At school, Bart realizes that Lisa is becoming obsessed with throwing the best party ever. At Blythe's house, Homer puts on Calvin's hat and kneels down to look in the mirror whilst imitating Calvin mockingly. Grampa then walks in and says nice things to Homer, which makes Homer happy, until Homer realizes that Grampa had his eye drops in and thought he was talking to Calvin. Homer got depressed that his father loved Calvin more than him and went to sit outside. When Calvin went over to Homer, he realized that Homer was feeling down about his relationship with Grampa. Homer then showed Calvin how Grampa treats him by dressing Calvin up as Homer. Calvin and Homer talk and Calvin convinces Homer that he needs to show Grampa how he really feels about their relationship.
At the next Retirement Castle party, the party got out of control. Lisa then decided to call the police and get the party shut down. When the police arrived, Lisa sat down in the back of the car to empty churro sugar out of her shoes. When the kids started walking out of the Retirement Castle, they thought that Chief Wiggum was arresting Lisa. Lisa convinced Wiggum to drive away with her in the car to make the kids think that she had indeed been arrested. Meanwhile, Calvin attends the taxidermy convention at the Shelbyville Inn. Homer then comes in with his entry, two shells with googly eyes glued to them, representing him and Grampa. Grampa starts to complain about Homer's entry until he really looks at it and realizes how Homer feels about their relationship. Grampa and Homer then have a heart to heart where Grampa tells Homer that everything was his fault.
At some point later, Blythe broke up with Grampa for a man she had a better spiritual connection with. The new boyfriend took Calvin to Africa to study animals. Grampa was just happy that he and Homer were close again though, which he told him over the phone. At the Simpson house, Homer ignored the call from Grampa, thinking Grampa had just butt dialed him.
