Action Comics is a superhero comic book series, famous for introducing Superman.
History
Homer saw the first issue of the comic at the Springfield Swap Meet, but did not buy it as he thought it was "junk".[1] Krusty lit a cigar by setting fire to the first issue of the comic.[2]
When Comic Book Guy told Seymour Skinner the story about kryptonite he is holding an issue of Action Comics.[3]
When Comic Book Guy watches Lady Gaga perform, he used a copy of the first issue to wipe his tears.[4]
When Springfield was on their way to be evacuated from a volcano Comic Book Guy had a problem choosing between Action Comics #1 and Detective Comics #27.[5]
Ned was selling one edition of this magazine in his garage sale. Comic Book Guy refused to buy it as it had a damaged corner.[6]
