Simpsons airdates outside the US[edit]
Where do you find the source for Simpsons airdates outside the US like your list of UK ones? Gazlene the Pork Girl 15:10, 23 April 2013 (EDT)
- I've been collecting info on Simpsons UK airdates since the premiere of Season 21 on Sky1 in Jan 2010. Channel 4's website provides the info on when an episode was first shown and accessing the archived UK listings from SNPP.com on The Wayback Machine also contributes - well, I haven't used the archives on the site as of yet, they could be used however. ~ Phinbart (talk • contribs) 15:47, 23 April 2013 (EDT)
- I made this as a Referata wiki for Simpsons airdates and international airdates. I was inspired by you to do this. On second thought, I think I'll ditch the site. I'll use my userpage or the sandbox. Gazlene the Pork Girl 20:16, 23 April 2013 (EDT)
Gradiva Maggie Books[edit]
According to SNPP.com (http://www.simpsonsarchive.com/guides/booklistot01.html), those books are Portuguese-language, not Spanish. I speak Spanish, and when I saw those titles, I thought they were full of misspellings. For example, Aprende as Cores e as Formas com Maggie Simpson (Maggie Simpson's Book of Colors and Shapes) would be rendered Apprende los Colores y las Formas con Maggie Simpson if it were Spanish. And the actual Spanish title (per SNPP) is El Libro de las Formas y los Colores de Maggie Simpson. The Maggie Books (most of them, anyway) do exist in Spanish, and the publsher is Ediciones B. -- Mythigator 09:40, 4 May 2013 (EDT) (El Mitigador)
- Thanks, and I did actually have a hunch that those titles may have been Portuguese in the first place. ~ Phinbart (talk • contribs) 09:43, 4 May 2013 (EDT)

Tapped Out Portal Featured Building/Character[edit]
Hi Phinbart, I think it's time to change the Featured Building/Character for the Tapped Out Portal, since it was last changed on August 7, 2013. / Loco87 (Talk / Contribs) 22:38, November 5, 2013 (EDT)
- I know about this, I'm sorry, I've just been so uber busy I haven't had time to change it/or I forgot about it. Is it possible you could change it for this month? I've got a lot of projects going on at the moment, and I probably won't be able to change it tonight. If you can do this, that would be great. Thanks, ~ Phinbart (talk • contribs) 10:57, November 6, 2013 (EST)
The Falcon and the D'ohman on Channel 4[edit]
I was looking at the script for The Falcon and the D'ohman and realized there's a lot of violent scenes in the episode. When Channel 4 air it, it'll probably be about 5 minutes long! :P
What do you think will get cut? I think the karate scene will either get shortened or cut completely, and the scene in Moe's Tavern will probably be shortened to simply "Snake comes in on his motorcycle then steps off, then Wayne comes out of the men's room and kicks him to the ground". The Tawainese News scene will probably be shortened as well, sadly... Homer to the Max (talk) 12:45, November 13, 2013 (EST)
- It really depends. Who knows - when it finally airs on Channel 4, new rules may be in place to allow this episode to be fully transmitted, or for it to be acknowledged as a watershed episode! Well, Channel 4 do air some violent scenes (I've never seen THOHs immensely cut), so it may be cut a fair bit, but hopefully it'll still remain understandable. Or maybe they'll simply air it later in the night so as not to expose violence to younger children watching. Who knows? ~ Phinbart (talk • contribs) 13:01, November 14, 2013 (EST)
Homerland[edit]

Is the premiere dates correct? I don't think they showed "Homerland" on Sky at April 20, 2013?/AleWi (talk) 11:38, April 29, 2014 (EDT)
- Yes, the premiere dates are all correct on both pages to my knowledge. I've received some other info and waiting on some verification. As for "Homerland," yes it did air on April 20 at 8pm, as I thoroughly took attention to the schedules and actually recorded it at that date and time. To be honest, I don't know why you are questioning this. ~ Phinbart (talk • contribs) 12:11, April 29, 2014 (EDT)
Featured content[edit]
Hello. Month after month I've been struggling to update the main page with new featured content as there's been a lack of decent content to add. Therefore, I'm asking everyone to nominate any decent articles, episodes, images and quotes that fit the criteria. Most importantly is the featured article and episode. However, we're also lacking comprehensive article nominations too. The worst thing is that there is usually very little voting on these, with there only being one or two votes maximum. I'm sorry to send out a mass message like this but the sitenotice seems to go unnoticed. Thanks, The Solar Dragon 08:17, May 1, 2014 (EDT)
UK premieres[edit]
Hey Phinbart, I've created {{Airdates}} which should be used to add premieres of episodes in other countries to episode articles. Would you be able to do this for the UK airdates? Thanks, The Solar Dragon 14:27, June 8, 2014 (EDT)

Krustyland article[edit]
Hi Phinbart, I've noticed that we need a Krustyland article for Tapped Out. I think it should be under the name "Krustyland/Tapped Out" and it should include a History section for the plot, list of attractions and when they become available, the same for decorations, and a list of characters who can visit Krustyland and can earn tickets. I don't really have the time or effort to work on this with a lot of other things going on so I was wondering whether you could do it? A lot of it is compiling information from other pages together. If not, I'll see what I can do. Thanks, The Solar Dragon 17:51, August 12, 2014 (EDT)
- Yeah, sure, I'll do it. I'll start it in my userspace though. ~ Phinbart (talk • contribs) 05:08, August 13, 2014 (EDT)

Random dialogue[edit]
I'm pretty sure I got that before starting or after completing one of the quests. It was a couple of says ago now though. The Solar Dragon 04:50, August 27, 2014 (EDT)
- Oh, also, would it be possible for you to rearrange the guide to make it look more like other recent guides? It's in a different style which probably isn't good for the wiki as it's different. We like continuity between articles. The Solar Dragon 04:52, August 27, 2014 (EDT)
- I was actually going to create two different guides, one with the dialogue and one without, the former being re-located onto another page "/Unabridged questline" or something. With the dialogue all showing like that, it would take an age to navigate the article. ~ Phinbart (talk • contribs) 04:55, August 27, 2014 (EDT)
Hey, Long Time No See[edit]
Well, I wanted to ask you if you could supply a better quality image of the "Homer the Heretic" misprint in your "Simpsons World the Ultimate Episode Guide: Seasons 1-20" book. I cant see a thing in the current image: Link. I was going to suggest scanning, but that book looks awfully huge. Try and see what you can do, please. Thanks. Gazlene the Pork Girl (talk) 13:01, September 2, 2014 (EDT)
- May I ask what this will be used for? Or is this just you nitpicking? :P ~ Phinbart (talk • contribs) 13:08, September 2, 2014 (EDT)
- I just wanted to see the error on the page, but the quality and shadowing makes it hard to see. I am a bit of a nitpicker, by the way. Just look at all those images I replaced! :D
By the way, this site might be useful to you. I haven't had a big look at it, but it's an Australian Simpsons news site: http://simpsonsgazette.tripod.com. Gazlene the Pork Girl (talk) 19:10, September 2, 2014 (EDT)
