Toyota Motor Corporation is a Japanese automotive manufacturer headquartered in Toyota, Aichi, Japan. Toyota collaborated with The Simpsons in a short-lived advertising campaign for the Toyota Corolla between 1992 and 1993, making it one of the franchise's earliest partnerships with an automobile manufacturer. The campaign consisted of three officially licensed television commercials featuring original animation created specifically for Toyota.[1][2]

The first commercial introduced the Corolla as "a welcome addition to the family... any family," while the second featured Homer, Bart, and Ned Flanders in a neighborhood prank involving a Corolla Wagon. The third starred Homer and Grandpa Simpson, who eagerly claimed Homer's new Corolla after learning what it was. Although the commercials aired in North America, some were also broadcast dubbed into Québec French.[3]
