When Homer and Grampa became the owners of O'Flanagan's Pub in Dunkilderry, Ireland, they asked Moe to fly over there so he could teach them how to run a successful bar. When Moe arrived, Grampa was shocked that Moe had shipped himself inside of a large crate. Moe then told Grampa that that's "how you fly coach on Delta now".[3]
Ned Flanders and Edna Krabappel started dating each other, but after learning of her prolific dating history, Ned said, "Edna, call me Delta Airlines 'cause I can't handle your extra baggage."[4]
Bart, Milhouse and Nelson's revenge prank against Moe was to get him a mail-order bride from Russia. After the bride arrived at Moe's Tavern, Moe told her, "Sweetheart, we'll straighten this out. I'll overnight youse back to Russia, and, oh, boy, I'm sorry to say this, but, uh... but on Delta."[5]
