The Rise and Fall of Bartholomew J. Simpson is a comic story featured in Simpsons Comics #47. The comic was later reprinted in Simpsons Comics Madness, Simpsons Classics #24 and The Best of The Simpsons #27.
Plot
It's the future and the Simpsons children have grown up. Bart has ended up in hospital needing a digestive tract and an anonymous donor has provided one, claiming to be indebted to him. When Bart speaks the words "fish logs", Lisa decides to investigate to see if they are related to the donor. She goes round Springfield, speaking to Milhouse, Chief Wiggum, Ralph, Fat Tony, Principal Skinner and Ned Flanders who each in turn tell the story of what happened with fish logs when Bart was still ten years old:
